Mulgrew took a blatant dive in front of the young team in the 1st half and therefore got pelters the rest of the game, completely deserved,  oh and the fact he had both hands on Kane’s shoulders every time they went for headers didn’t do him any favours, but other than that he’s no a bad lad for a total fud.

Just the usual stuff then.

Clark was outstanding obviously, but Gordon was solid too. Booth & Middleton caused them trouble. It was desperate defending at times though, and we need to improve on how we use the ball when under pressure.

Also, some players - Crawford in particular - just don’t look fit enough for 90 mins. MOH was taken off as he was tiring, yet we took off Middleton who still had plenty of energy and left on Crawford.

Great result.

That’s the equivalent of a goalkeeper  being unplayable.

Bryson is a class act and we badly missed him. Feel this could be the turning point that we look back upon.

Have a good night folks

Great how much better the weekend is after a win. Especially when we are a defeat off the bottom.

Disagree entirely Middleton great going forward but United were causing problems down their right and the correct decision to take him off.

Crawford ran himself into the ground on Wednesday but had to play 90 due to the injuries elsewhere.

Presumably Craig and Davidson were both injured today, with Davidson on the bench simply for numbers (he'd have been on late otherwise), so who would you be replacing Crawford with?

Wasn't at the game today, but Crawford was done after 45 minutes on Wednesday. He had a good first half, but his lack of fitness showed greatly, he wasn't able to press in the second half and Davidson pushed him further forward behind the strikers in the hope of him being effective again.

I like Crawford, just hoping more game time will help with his fitness levels as games wear on.

Think Bryson was running him close until the last 10 mins or so, where Clark went crazy.

Do me a favour!!!!!

Bryson had a good game but I can’t believe you are even mentioning his name in the same breath as Zander.

That was perhaps the best goalkeeping performance I have ever seen from a St.Johnstone goalkeeper. It’s certainly Zander’s best game in a St.Johnstone jersey.

You put Parish in the sticks today and we would have been demolished 3, 4, 5 or 6-1.

You put Northcott or Davidson in place of Bryson we still would have come away from the game with 3 points.

Relax, not as one sided as being reported.

Scotland No.1 dealt with the threats.

Everyone of the players were immense.

You think? In the 2nd half Nikansen, Levitt, Pawlett tore you apart, only the keeper stopped a proper hiding.  If that’s your outfield being ‘immense’ your are in trouble.

You can make aw the pretty patterns you want Smarmy, but if you can't put the ba in the net you lose.

The fact that they had 3 or 4 free headers is a worry but in 2 second half's in a row the as a whole team have given everything.

The bright spot is in the last 2 games we had good first half performances. When you are looking over your shoulder in the league then probably you get a bit negative & try to hold on to points.
