St.Johnstone V Ross County - Saturday 4th December

Recommended Posts

Not much needs to be said to set this match up.

We need a performance and we need the double cup winners from last year to turn up.

The imposters who were wearing red and white strips the other night are asked to stay away. Don't contact us we'll contact you.

Please win.

We need to sort this out. Simplicity trumps everything else for this one. For Christ sake no more square pegs in round holes. Has to be a solid back 4 and a clean sheet.

                             Clark

Rooney     Gordon     McCart      Booth

O’Halloran Davidson Craig Solomon-Otabor

                 Kane       Vertainen

We all.know CD will NOT Play 4 at the back

I'm almost convinced Bryson will walk straight back into X1

I’d be very surprised if he doesn’t, been our only midfielder to turn up on a regular basis.

Bryson not my favourite but at the moment he is the only player we have that is comfortable on the ball.

Normally I would be wanting Craig to play but was not impressed with him last night & I thought he looked slow & a bit heavy.

I have absolutely no idea so I could be about to have egg on my face, but since he joined the club, what is our win ratio with Bryson starting compared to our win ratio with Bryson not starting the match?

That's an egregious stat to request;

- that's going to take someone time to do;

- whatever stat doesn't take into account  the team around him (i.e. injuries/suspensions). McCann made excellent runs, our current midfield is a mirage ; and

- the quality of the opposition.

Like this line up barr the centre of midfield which at the minute is a choice of a poor bunch. Bryson over Craig? Crawford if he realises that he has to track back & tackle? One thing for sure is that Solomon-Otabor has to start.

Brown     Gordon     McCart      Booth

That would be my preference. I like Brown at right back.

Not much cause McCann played instead. I’m joking I don’t have a clue.

He can’t start he hasn’t played all season. Be lucky if he manages past half time.

I would ditch Booth and bring in Efe. That would be my only change.

Daddy cool at LB??? Not a chance. He hasn't got the pace, space or place to show his Boney M moves.

Devine hasn't had much time at all since Gala. He offered something going forward.

And offered the opposition opportunities too.

Booth certain starter. Pretty solid.

Bryson is our most composed midfield player on the ball and sees a pass. I hope he's back for this game and he should walk straight in to a team bereft of ideas.

I would agree with that. Despite his indiscretion last week he’s straight back in to the team.

Sad state of affairs when a senior pro who cost us three points through his utter incompetence and bloody-mindedness comes straight back into the team because he is the best option… depressing!!!
