Saints v the ranjurs Sunday the 18th of February

Isn't it because of our insistence on playing wing-backs who aren't really suited to playing as wing-backs? They're left with way too much to do on either side of the pitch and opposition teams are seeing that and exploiting it. If we played more traditional full-backs with wingers/wide midfielders in front of them, we'd probably be a lot better equipped to stop other teams from getting crosses in.

I noticed particularly in the Ross County game that County were hitting a lot of balls over the top of our wing-backs for their attackers to run onto and send crosses in. We got a bit lucky in that game from the fact that County weren't good enough to get anything out of that tactic.

Dundee shredded us down their left hand side the whole game , first half especially, but nothing was done to change it, by the coaching staff.

They did try and change it a couple of times, to be fair to them. Got it badly wrong though.

Have the present coaching team made any changes this season that has won the game.

Just asking for a friend.

Levein knows we have to stop crosses coming in so I think he'll be prepared accordingly.

Mitov,

McGowan

Keltjens, Olufunwa, K Smith, Gordon, Considine, Gallacher, Robinson

Phillips(if fit to protect them.)  Probably Max but for Sprangler in this role.

Kimpioka

I truly hope for a four four two but at least we have width over the park.

Results today mean the next 3 games after this are huge.

Livingston won today, and next 2 games are Ross County and Motherwell, then its us.

We play Rangers, St Mirren away, and Aberdeen away before that game.

A very real chance we are just ~3pts off the bottom come that match.

3 winnable games for Livi. Squeaky bum time.

FFS!! I hope you are so wrong!

Gallagher and Considine should never be on the pitch at the same time - so limited! Considine hobbling about like a 70 year old man and Gallagher treating the ball like it’s a land mine.

As for Max starting against that Rangers midfield - god help us!

Can we have a minute applause in the 90th minute for Michael Mellon after he managed to pull through a horrific clash of heads with captain Liam Gordon 👏👏

Naw ! The stand will be empty by then as that lot will be singing sectarian crap with being top of league .

Can anyone tell me what our heaviest defeat ever, at home, is?

Radford would know, but his visits here are now rarer than cows being seen flying over the moon.

Today Rangers will be at it from the off.

Couple of Stagecoach buses parked on the goal line couldn't protect Mitov today from whatever our defenders get up to today.

I remember it well. 0-7 against Rangers in 1998. And that was a pretty good saints team. Rangers were star studded with the likes of Van Bronckhorst, Kanchelskis, Albertz.

Dont know why theres is a line up while ours is just written down, but aye, that looks a very good Saints team that would beat the current one IMO.
