Yeah Levein sounded done on the radio on Saturday night. A wounded lion well past his prime who knows the end is near.

It would almost be a mercy to give him an out from it, and might give us enough to do something unexpected in the next 3 games. Just now it feels like our form/performances are crashing at the wrong time, and finishing 11th will be too much for them to rise from to win any play off.

Agree it’s time for them to stand aside whether put on garden leave or sacked. Desperately need an injection of enthusiasm and positive guidance …….and Cleland  / Griffin will make a better fist of it I reckon. No doubt costly to deliver but needs must and the cost benefit of staying up will be obvious to Brown……….just sort it!

I don’t know how contracts work? I’m sure Levein was given a 3 year contract so I think we’d have to still pay him? I don’t know if we are still paying salaries to CD and SM!

To think they approached Martindale? If he’d accepted we’d be relegated by now so could have been worse 😉

He can shit and bust as much as he likes but there is no chance we will overtake County. The guy is clueless and is a failed manager apart from a small part of his time with United.

It seams I am persona non grata at the momment.  Craig gave a speech,  yes I did contracd him  at the time, at no time time was I abusive tae him , Roddy and his entourage did not want me tae speak to him at the end of the evening  I asked him if if I could sit down and speak tae him without his ontrage, to which he said yes, I asked him two questions which he answered,fair play tae him, at the end I shook hands wae him, two minutes later I spoke tae Roddy who dismissed meand said   Quote you were pissed,  some people don't like the truth,  me and Craig left it quite amicabilly.l

You are omitting the speech you gave at presentation of Exiles award when you basically told him how the team should be playing and who should be in the team??

Surely that is the kind of chat that should have been done in private not with a mic in hand with a player standing at your side!!

Just like Davidson before him, Levein seems to have this obsession with picking those three defenders in a back three, flanked by two wing-backs, even though the system routinely fails to produce results and we haven't had left and right-sided players suited to playing at wing-back since the Rooney and Booth days. The insistence on returning to this set-up time and time again is just baffling. Especially as we've actually looked better on the rare occasions when we've started with a back four (e.g. the last win at Pittodrie).

I also don't get why Keltjens is now out of favour. Would we not be better off playing him as a right-back with either Drey or Fran in front of him?

We just keep trying the same things over and over again and it makes me wonder if Levein is even aware of the fact that we've been trying to play in this same way for years now and it has never worked. He's basically trying to set us up in the same way that Davidson already stubbornly stuck with, failed with and lost his job over.

It amazes me that a guy of Levein's experience doesn't have any more ideas than this. He genuinely seems completely clueless as to any possible alternative options. In fact, he just seems clueless in general.

It's so depressing. I can take nothing positive from the game on Saturday. After a bright start when I started thinking we can kick on now we just dissolved in to the same old pattern of play.

I am truly stumped about how we turn this around. Forget changing the manager it's not going to happen! Going to Livi is the last place I'd choose to get us back on track. We don't play well there and are we going to risk our recently returning injured players on that surface?

We are introuble and we all seen it coming. Could we win a two legger against Raith? I don't know and the thought of Pens at McD gives me palpatations.

A two at the back might be stronger if you have McGowan with Gordon and McGowan holds his hand for 90 minutes. 

We need a better system in midfield to protect the defence but they are all shitebags.

This is the feeling I got after that after match interview on Saturday. The Saints TV one, although the BBC one was as bad.

There's been a few interviews now, when he's been asked about what's gone wrong, he's basically replied, "I don't know".

Honesty is fine, but sometimes it might be better to at least pretend that you've got an idea and you'll be working on it.

From what I can tell from that interview, he's just going to be doing the same things again this week and hoping for a different result.

The definition of insanity and all that.

I was also surprised at his comment about what would have happened if we had scored in the first half. "We wouldn't have needed to attack". What? That's straight out of the Davidson handbook.

For all his experience, we all know, and I presume all our opponents managers do as well, exactly how we're going to play. Hold the opposition at bay and maybe steal a goal on the break, then try and defend that lead at all costs and hopefully scrape the points.

I hope we try to be more positive against Livi, who must surely now be just going through the motions.
