Allows either Levein or a new manager a huge opportunity to completely rebuild the squad and team.

Proper proper end of an era stuff. Shame we don’t have a Tommy Wright or Derek McInnes in building the squad from the ground but we are where we are.

Goalkeepers - set.  Sinclair back so Richards thank you.  Extend Wills.

Defence - retain McGowan one year deal to help McClelland, Olufunwa.  Extend Parker and sign at least one new one.

Midfield - extend Sprangler, Parker.  I question whether or not given their injury history whether it is wise to try and extend Wright or MacPherson.  What do Charlton intend with DJ?  If released worth an offer.

Extend Steven and Franczk.

Alastair Stevenson said after the double, he was inundated with calls from parents of youngsters to give them a chance they weren't getting at other clubs.  We've seen how successful these youth teams have been in the last couple of years.  To maintain that level of support we need to bring those who are capable through and not stunt their development.

Hence my major need is to have good quality coaching so replace those that are there meantime.  The whole negative culture has to change and it cannot with so many heavily indoctrinated.  Players look good and go backwards so Messi, Ronaldo, Foden, Palmer, would die here.

Not sure about some of the youngsters but would hope they would retain McCrystal, Mylchreest Steven Parker and off course Fran. We can't afford a big squad so I think they will pad it out with kids. On top of half a dozen decent signings off course.

The rest of our out of contract players can go.

Would like to see mitov tied down asap 1 year remaining scares me. Also need to try and get philips on board.. although its looking like hes offski?

Mitov 100%

Philips, honestly not sure I’d offer him a contract, as a midfielder what does he offer, don’t think he’s scored a single goal for us, can’t think of many assists, he gets booked far too often and gives the ball away a lot.

I d love him to score the goal to keep us up and prove me wrong though.

If Mitov were to sign a new contract, let alone one within the next few months, then I’d say that’s a very poor career choice.

Depends on how well hes settled here and if hes enjoying it. Remember when we thought jody was only up here for the short term.. and i dare say he would have had options away from us

Hes not looking like a goal threat i do agree on that.. and he does give away a fair few  fouls but hes got a good bit of dig in there and a solid presence which is needed. I think the best is yet to come from dan

Mitov will be instructing his agent "get me out of here".  I'd be very surprised if he was here in August.

The big difference is Jody was playing for a Saints team that was on the way up and he clearly loved it here. Mitov is playing for a team on the way down and seriously, why would anyone enjoy being at this club at the moment? Even as a fan I barely want to stick around any more.

I would assume Taylor Steven will be offered a new deal and probably a loan at a higher level.

Does anyone think we wouldn't offer Liam Gordon a new deal?

Taylor Steven is the only one out of contract that I would offer a new deal.

Gordon will likely be offered a new deal, but I think it would be in the interests of both the club and player if he left. He has been far to error prone in the past few seasons.

We have made countless stupid contractual decisions of late, so a new 3 year contract for Gordon seems about right.😢
