Reported £500k release clause for Sidebeh. The hope is to get two clubs bidding against one another so it goes well beyond that

Get him and Kimpioka on longer contracts like a young Callum Davidson was (allegedly) was  on,  sign a longer contract, we won’t stand in your way,  if the right bid comes in an you get a % of what  we get.

Agents involved unfortunately.

Not a lot, £20-30k is all Arsenal would be obligated to pay but that’s not to say they won’t pay a little more or add in clauses out of courtesy

Got this wrong, it’s €10k for every year he was with us between 12-15 years old plus €90k next year as he turns 16 before moving south so should be €130k, additional clauses can still be negotiated between the clubs after that

Courier confirms there is a clause but its higher than the 500k being mentioned

That will be it then.....offski.

It is hoped we can pick up a gem from somewhere before the end of the window because Clark's fitness can't be guaranteed for very long, Ikpeazu, even if he does return doesn't score many, Kirk has potential, and although Kimpioka has found Scotland easy to score in, he is hardly been a proven goalscorer in his short career.

What happens if Kimpioca has a release clause as well?

Nightmare.

Lots of ifs and buts there. You must struggle walking down the street worrying about all the things that could hurt you.

Why are people feeling negative after the most positive news report you could possibly read?

The club haven’t received a single phone call about Adama in the past month and the £500k release clause isn’t a thing.

For me it feels a bit like we're heading towards losing him at the last possible moment of the transfer window and not having time to use the fee on beefing up the squad. Weirdly, it would almost be better for us if he had a crap couple of games for the next few weeks, to put suitors off until the window closes.

I still think it would be better for him to stay with us at least until the January window. If he hits a good number of goals for us between then and now, the offers coming in for him will be more lucrative than the ones likely to be on the table at the moment. But of course as a footballer you never know what's around the corner and it must be tempting to just grab a big offer when it's available. Still remember everyone thinking another big offer would come along for Danny Griffin after he turned down Derby, and it never did.

I honestly can’t see it. I don’t think any club would be willing to pay our minimum demands until he’s proved himself in the Scottish Premiership over a longer period of time. Regardless, by that point, we’ll hopefully have made use of Stevie May’s wages (amongst others) in addition to the Rangers cup match income. If we needed to strengthen any further, we’d have the opportunity to find a free agent or two after the transfer window closes.

Aside from the lowball Swansea offer, there are no other offers on the table for Sidibeh and there haven’t been any whatsoever.

The transfer speculation has been entirely drummed up by his agent and Pete O’Rourke. We’ve got to take a step back and consider why there’s been so much apparent interest in him compared to someone like Kimpioka who is younger with a slightly better goalscoring record and more experience of senior football. The Courier is genuinely speculating that Sidibeh might sign a new contract here as well, so it seems like his representatives are just scrabbling for more money as quickly as possible, regardless of how they manage it.

Yeah, this. It's hard to gauge how likely Sidibeh is to go simply because of how much talk is being generated by unreliable parties.
