Couldn't find a thread for this so sorry if there is one, but does anyone here regularly watch the u18 side and know all the players names/positions/information? 

Going to try and get them on FM this season, but need general information about them like name/position/age to do that. Attributes wise would just be strengths/weaknesses but would mostly be random as it's hard to be fair on players that age.

Of those who are now too old for U18s next season, six of them have been offered a new contract

 

As for positions;

Scott Bright left back and captain

Bailey Klimoniek left footed centre back

Joe Ellison bit of a utility man - has played RB CB CM

Dominic Shiels centre back

Filip Franczak right back

Adam McMillan winger

Kodi Mckinstry and Kyle Scott centre midfielders 

Ben Mccrystal played mostly as a 10

Brodie Dair and Mylchreest forwards but Dair has also played off the side a few times

I would have thought that Liam Parker would have been offered a contract. Tall centre back with a good left foot. Left sided centre backs not easy to come by.

Is Dair 16 yet? U16s not allowed to be added without parents permission.

I thought he was. Disappointed he is not getting a contract as I said I think he has the attributes we need.

Is Taylor Steven being offered a new contract. I know he is over 18.

I think he will get a first team contract for next season. Good prospect.

Would I be right in thinking Ben Denholm, Bailey Pert, Cole Bullard and Lucas McKimmie don't play for the club and left in Summer 2023?

Under 18s took a bad beating last night. A lot of changes over the season and a few players loaned out. I think there were a few younger players playing last night.

Saints second, a far way behind Morton in the under 18 performance league but bottom of the under 16 league.

I know we have brought through Dare and Hamill and got good money for them but it doesn't seem to transfer to the first team with few making the grade.

We are only in the performance league , don't know how we would fare in the Elite league.

There is also the problem of over 18s not getting football unless they are loaned out some lower league club that are not doing well and won't help the confidence of young players getting gubbed ever week.

Also we have a team of players and more sitting in the stand every week. I think we should join the reserve league and have these players and over 18s getting some game time.

I know or think  Saints get money towards youth development but surely being part of the reserve league can't be that expensive. I think Queens Park and Hamilton are part of it.

Anyway International break is boring as you can see from above rant.

Tbf I think we "lost" a generation with Covid restricting things and then having a ripple effect.

It'll probably the next batch coming through, who are 15-17 just now, where the hopes will lie.

Joe Ellison - Contract expiring 2025, unsure of futue

Adam McMillan - Contract expiring 2025, released

Craig Hepburn - Contract expiring 2027, remains at club

James Muir - Contract expiring 2025, unsure of future 

Arran Brookfield - Contract expiring 2026

Jacob Fleming - Contract expiring 2025, unsure of future

Jackson Mylchreest - Contract extended to 2026

Oliver Cairns - Contract expiring 2026

Jack Robertson - Contract expiring 2026

Murray Binnie - Contract expiring 2026

Scott Bright - Contract extended to 2026

Of the new batch I can only players 16 or older, so Callum Boyle can be added. Believe a Jamie Cord is also over 16 and in our youth set up? Information on either would be great, hard to find much about when they joined.
