How are people feeling about this one? Maybe I've been sucked in by our one good game last weekend but I'm feeling like we have a decent chance here. If we can be brave enough to start Sidibeh and Kimpioka as a front two it'll be something Rangers aren't used to facing most weeks and we could be better set up to give them a scare than we have in a while.

If we were to go 5-3-2 it would allow us to have plenty of cover at the back while still maintaining two up front.

Sprangler in for Essel, presumably?

I doubt it Levein will play Sprangler.

Yeah we definitely have a chance, but we'll need things to go perfectly. For as poor as Rangers are, they're still capable of rattling a few in and I still worry about some of our players a bit, but that fearlessness might work for us.

Sprangler for Essel would make sense, as it adds to the strength of midfield and he'll probably be able to stay pretty static while they want Essel getting about a lot more, I'm genuinely not sure who else they could put in there tbh and worry he'll do something mental like Carey as the holding midfielder.

Two confident strikers. I'd be loathed to drop either to the bench.

Levein was quoted after Saturday about how having two pacey strikers helped his game plan for hitting quickly on the counter, so I can see him leaning on that for Saturday, along with a more defensive midfield.

I think the fact that Sprangler didn't play against East Fife in midweek could point towards him being in the plans for the weekend.

Agree with others that Levein gives the impression of not rating him much, but if that's the case, why did he give him a new contract?

Only one year whilst Levein was beginning to panic about getting players in. He had C Smith and Max who had shown nothing the previous season and he had let a few go.

Playing wise, I think we have a decent chance, especially if we can score first and Benji and Adama play well. Their defence has looked suspect in the past few games.

Off the pitch, I am struggling to get motivated for a game at a half empty Hampden. Views are terrible and always a bit of a nightmare getting to and from.
