Back in 2012ish we gave them the East but kept the Main and Ormond. I was thinking about late nineties, remember beat Rangers 3 1 and celtic a couple of times, Keith ohalloran scored, another game liam.brady got fired after it tbf we had a real decent team then

I think people are misremembering and just assuming we've given them 3 stands multiple times since. This is the first time we've moved season ticket holders out the east, and given 3 stands to any opposition club, in decades. And season ticket holders weren't informed until the decision was already made, the last communication being 4 months ago to guarantee them it wouldn't happen. Dav69
First time in my life that I have ever wanted one of these 2 to win an old firm derby. One of the newest clubs added to the Scottish league comes to mind and this may put an end to this debate. Some fantastic pros and cons btw. so me personally ,50/50 caring. Pro- take the money and the moaners will return next season to all these Friday evening games on BBC Scotland with all forgiven. We DO need the money to get players to bring us back up in one go. Con- if I see one *****bag steward or copper allow flares, pyro smoke delaying the kick off then I AM DONE WITH THIS CLUB! .week in week out herded like cattle outside the east stand being frisked pisses me off!! Don’t mind the main stand as it’s spacious but any cheer from this stand by that lot invading and they will find a way to get tickets here also and any *****baggery by stewards and police then IM DONE! Bad enough that this lot will be in hospitality seats also. Bring this game on as it will define my future Saturdays.
Dav69
Can always treat this game as a European tie? Well there will be Palestinian flags , Tricolour etc with not a St Andrew flag in sight.

The owner made the decision, no-one else. 😂😂 They sounded out some fan’s groups but the decision was already made. The guy who bought the club from the very start made it clear he was here to make money and monetize club to its full potential. We are no longer going to be run like a glorified bowling club. We are in desperate need of modernisation. Tattie-bogle and Saintdunc
CAH
Agree wholeheartedly with the comments re the poor standard of stewarding and policing outside the East stand. Suggest that the Club send a board member round to watch these muppets in action!

I wasn't sure about Mr Webb's motives on takeover, but we have become more business like, and with it entered the 21st Century.

Suggest that the Club send a board member round to watch these muppets in action! Simple solution that may work is: You have the right to stop a steward searching you under the Human Rights Act 1998 and Equality Act 2010. Ask to be searched by the local constabulary and ensure they 1- specify a reason to Stop and Search. 2-Ask you to consent 3- Explain why. 4-After search should provide you with a “receipt of search”. 5- Can’t be searched on how you look. 6- Tell you their name and divisional office.7- If you agreed to be searched as you enter an event. The get out clause for the constabulary is Section 60 Stop and Search without reasonable grounds. By the police stopping me I have no issues as I wouldn’t like to get hit with a bottle, burnt by pyro but the stewards, they irritate me. slf
I wonder how many doing the greeting and bleating and got the hump actually turn up at these games? I do and have an empty row around me ,the rows in front are sparse compared to other matches. Folk voting with their feet at rangers /celtic games.there a large group of fans that’s gave the club there views silently for a long time. think it could be be safer in the one stand.I would prefer not but it is what it is. The level of entitlement around "I'm a season ticket holder" and somehow that's a higher grade ticket or fan. Support the club. Support the attempt to maximise finances to better compete next season in whichever league we find ourselves. Those opposing the club's attempt to do the right thing by the finances, need to ask what sort of standard they hope to watch in the future...because it won't be cups and European adventures. Get behind the club and get it registered that you do not have a seat. You pay upfront for your tickets and get a discount for that. It's a ticket—a licence with conditions (have you read them?). It's not a 999-year lease and debenture.

Looks better for the cameras and less fans having to cross over each other.

One point is that Main Stand season ticket holders have paid more for a better seat, so to move them to the East Stand is a downgrade. Doing it the other way gives fans an upgrade. Slightly off topic but I'm still a bit annoyed about the fact that I paid extra for a Main Stand season ticket, and yet for every home game this season the walk-in price for the two stands has been identical. If the walk-in price is the same for both stands, then the season ticket price should be too.
