Saints v Motherwell, Scottish Cup 4th Round, 18/1/25

Shocking response to ticket sales. Season ticket holders had until today to secure their normal seat.

Home end tickets looks around only 600. We have nearly 3,000 season ticket holders.

Its the Scottish Cup, folk would normally be excited about this. Pricing is less than a league game.

Theres plenty of time and im sure we will sell a lot more but this looks really grim just now.

In contrast Motherwell sold out 2 sections of the main stand and are selling tickets fast in sections of the North Stand now open to them.

This is very worrying.

That's surprising. Motherwell aren't exactly setting the heather on fire.

Personally I'd made a decision not to bother with this one ... it's the second half of January, money's tight, it's not on the season ticket and I'm already paying for Saints TV so could watch it on that. However my dad wanted to go so I've ended up getting tickets for our usual two seats. But as things stand I don't think any of the 5 or 6 other regulars we normally sit with are going to this one.

  • blueheaven changed the title to Saints v Motherwell, Scottish Cup 4th Round, 18/1/25

I wouldn’t blame anyone for not going to any game at the minute! Football is  meant to be entertainment and let’s be honest when was the last time we felt entertained… sadly I am an old codger who blindly follows the team so tickets have been bought but I dread each game and can’t wait for the final whistle to go! In fact I almost want to feign illness so I don’t have to attend!!

For Me unless you can't afford it ( understandable) or other commitments or poor health, then little excuses not to go

You never know they might surprise you

Get to the game! Your team needs you more than ever

All this entertainment pish 😄

I would take a 1.0 cluster **** own goal  back to the wall win

SJFC

Ps 20 quid and ten quid

Great price

All the 20 is plenty brigade let's be having you !!

Genuinely embarrassing.

Not even close to 1000 sold yet.

Just can't muster any enthusiasm for this. It's only Wednesday and I might change my mind but I'm just totally deflated by the performances just before and over the festive period.

Hope we might make a decent game of it and set us up for the league game the week after.

Without bringing up an old argument it's about time we stopped calling it a season ticket. It's a league ticket.

Not been to a home cup game since they removed them.

Totally understand why there is little uptake in 'season' ticket holders. All very well when things are going well folks might be tempted to shell out extra. However when it's not you ain't paying the extra.

If the games were included likely you would turn up. Used to be a cup top up option and you paid your money and took your chances on what you got for that

I wonder if there are a few season ticket holders who think the ticket is valid for this game. Unless you are a Wapper there may not be other ways to notice.
