RandomGuy Posted March 29, 2025 Report Posted March 29, 2025 Its just ****ing stupid. I've defended the playing out from the back but it's been clear since the first few times that Hibs are going to be better at winning it back than we are playing through them. Just killing ourselves here. PerthSaint01 1 Quote
Tattie-bogle Posted March 29, 2025 Report Posted March 29, 2025 Far too many performances like this. Falls right at the managers door. Keeper aside not one of his signings have drastically improved us. That midfield would be no different if you swapped out Svedberg and griffith for smint, max or even mcracist At some point the walk needs to be walked alighting the Simon train at Haymarket for me Quote
mike_gain Posted March 29, 2025 Report Posted March 29, 2025 That'll be that then. IMO today was a must win. Can't see us sparking into a 4 game winning run. Damage was done in the summer I'm afraid....not like we've ever seen and inexperienced defense and keeper cost a team their place in the league. Quote
ex-montrosesaintee Posted March 29, 2025 Report Posted March 29, 2025 Svedberg is the new Gary McDonald Quote
Gekko Posted March 29, 2025 Report Posted March 29, 2025 Add me to the names who think the starting line up was wrong. The players on pitch, the formation and the style of play are costing us today. This is on the manager. He has to prove his worth at half time and the second half needs to be much different. Coltrane 1 Quote
Zorro's 'tache Posted March 29, 2025 Report Posted March 29, 2025 Next season won’t be easy either. We’ll have less space to pass/bore teams to death and will struggle to create chances let alone win games against some of the guff in the second tier. I’ve never once said ‘Can’t wait to see them pass the ball today!’ Nobody has. Football is about scoring goals and the sooner modern ‘genius’ coaches realise that then maybe a chance will be created and excitement shall be restored to the game.  sane_tee 1 Quote

Tattie-bogle Posted March 29, 2025 Report Posted March 29, 2025 This 'style' of play just won't cut it on the championship. Quote
Tattie-bogle Posted March 29, 2025 Report Posted March 29, 2025 And now comes the throwing shit at the wall substitutions Quote
Dav69 Posted March 29, 2025 Report Posted March 29, 2025 If this triple change makes an impact then this manager does not have a clue on a starting line up !! Quote

RandomGuy Posted March 29, 2025 Report Posted March 29, 2025 Im very pro-Valakari but this is a proper faith shaking performance. Just nowhere near it at all and nothings changed even after 3 subs. The issue was the shape. sane_tee and PerthSaint01 2 Quote
Kat71 Posted March 29, 2025 Report Posted March 29, 2025 I’ve said it before, Simo has the same affliction as Calum, he just keeps making the same mistakes and will not change, his way or no way. Dav69 1 Quote
HertsAgain Posted March 29, 2025 Report Posted March 29, 2025 Over an hour gone and no attempts on goal. Impressive. garydavidson 1 Quote
R.B.B:- Adz Posted March 29, 2025 Report Posted March 29, 2025 Hibs have just simply sussed us out and nullified everything we have Quote
Gekko Posted March 29, 2025 Report Posted March 29, 2025 One more sub to go. Clark or Sidebeh? Kirk needs rested by the way. Quote
Kat71 Posted March 29, 2025 Report Posted March 29, 2025 Sounds like the Saints players have chucked in the towel. Dav69 1 Quote
RandomGuy Posted March 29, 2025 Report Posted March 29, 2025 Pathetic, heartless, and shit aswell. We're ****ed if this is what they serve up when it really matters. Never even came close to making their keeper work never mind scoring. Not wanting to hear any shit about staying positive or the gap to 11th or Kilmarnock. They could lose every remaining game and still stay above the pish we just served up. Dav69 1 Quote
Dav69 Posted March 29, 2025 Report Posted March 29, 2025 To be playing for your future in this league and not create a single attempt at goal really speaks volumes of either the team or the management clowns !! Coltrane, HertsAgain and sane_tee 2 1 Quote
MrBored Posted March 29, 2025 Report Posted March 29, 2025 No surprise for me. Another thing.... Simo certainty isn't scared to make changes at half time. However, the amount of times he has to do it in the first place is very concerning. Tattie-bogle, sane_tee and garydavidson 3 Quote
Tattie-bogle Posted March 29, 2025 Report Posted March 29, 2025 Simo has no clue I'm afraid. He does not have the excuse of inherited players either now...they are all not very good Coltrane 1 Quote
Bruno Strasser Posted March 29, 2025 Report Posted March 29, 2025 I think that's it now. Realistically do not see this team clawing the gap back. Simply not good enough. sane_tee 1 Quote
