Did I not hear somewhere recently that it's now down to the players YEAR of birth, and month/date is now irrelevant? Article states the SFA have changed it so its now u19s and u17s rather than u18s. Believe some "overage" players are allowed to play at u19 level. Part of the changes suggested in last years' report on pro youth football: https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/news/young-players-given-greater-flexibility-to-move-during-key-development-stage-as-cooperation-system-launches-in-scotland/ Games also in a Monday night as opposed to Fridays and overage players allowed. All seems sensible, but sure SFA will find some way to make it not work. Best of luck to Griffin, hopefully he can bring on some quality players.
