Maybe someone could paint a mural of Saints Scottish cup winners lifting the cup to brighten it up. Gimme me some spray tins and I’ll spray something appropriate ya bass Quote

Seems be the way of it. They might just go on and win the league. If they had scrapped out a win in first game of season they would be 6 points ahead. Quote

They put a target on their back with then opening results and now they're showing chinks in their armour theyre about to find teams are sensing a weakness and trying to punish it. The winter period is what makes or breaks you, and with 3 wins in 8 it looks like its going to break us again. sane_tee 1 Quote

SlickDT Posted November 26, 2025 Report Posted November 26, 2025 Bozo, Mallan and Lloyd to come back in. I expect we see a new striker in January. We will peak at the right time of the season. Quote

Aitchy Posted November 26, 2025 Report Posted November 26, 2025 All of us on here would have been delighted if we were told before the season started that we would be sitting at the top of the league going into December with only two defeats. There has been one or two concerns recently, but it’s not the time to panic. Arbroath are the only team that have outplayed us this season. Partick showed nothing against us on Saturday that would worry me. Both goals were self inflicted. Liam Smith should have converted his chance in the dying minutes against Thistle to earn us a draw, and we would have all come away praising the reliance in our team. Other teams in the league will now raise their game against Partick, like they have done against us, so it will be interesting to see how they handle that. Simo has only had two transfers windows to manage his squad since his arrival and has done a pretty impressive job given the absolute shambles he inherited. By all accounts, work is well underway to bring new players to the club in January and hopefully once we have Lloyd up to speed and one or two different attacking options in our squad, we will be much more clinical. california_saintee, blueheaven, Northern saint and 11 others 14 Quote

Cagey Posted November 27, 2025 Report Posted November 27, 2025 Why would Simo ask Hearts if they could include Forrester in the squad for cup game when we have a more experienced right back who has also set up 2 or 3 goals from crosses. Something that I don't think any of the others have done. Mind you I think Smith may have set up one and scored one. Quote

Because hed be negligent to not bother when theres a chance someone gets injured and we end up without a natural right back. blueheaven 1 Quote
garydavidson Posted November 27, 2025 Report Posted November 27, 2025 Also there has been talk of Smiths ability to play left back, so maybe a switch there? Quote

I may be being delusional? (probably!) but sure Smith has played LB already this season - was his debut sub not at LB and another sub as LB as well? Correct me if I'm wrong so I can call the nurse please 😂 Quote

RandomGuy Posted November 27, 2025 Report Posted November 27, 2025 He potentially went to LB away to Arbroath too. Im sure he did then got replaced by Franczak who played LB too. Quote

sjfc99 Posted December 10, 2025 Report Posted December 10, 2025 Work continuing on the astro developments. Seats from Bell's Sports Centre have arrived to be used in the stands, and a former public toilet is being repurposed into the food and drink kiosk. Quote
