Do you not get tired of being relentlessly negative about everything?

We have made 6 or 7 signings. I haven't made a negative comment about any of them. I just say what I see.

never been at any club for more than 6 months for the last few seasons.

Probably need new glasses then. Hes been at Exeter since 2018 and between January 2021 and Summer 2024 thats the only club he played for (playing regularly in League One).

Anything else on the young guy lloyd coming in?

Courier has said its done, and hes potentially playing today but as a "trialist" as his registration hasn't been processed yet.

Apparently also a chance the GK, Steward, and CB, Diabate, also play as trialists, but I dont think any of the three of them are guaranteed to be involved.

Looking like Hepburn away out on loan. Brilliant keeper just needs game time.

I hope Sinclair isn't out for long or we are getting a new keeper

I don’t know much about all the new signings so have to give them a chance, but my big worry is that surely valakari can’t really be thinking mcpake and Steven are options at all as they are barely 2nd division or lowland league standard.
also Kirk can score a goal, but brings absolutely nothing else to the team as can’t hold the ball up and link play. And getting played on the right is like being a man down.

Steven hit 9 goals, with 7 assists, when he played in the "second division" when he was just 19yo.

Its just weird to claim hes not even lowland league standard. Like does talking down a 20yo kid make you feel clever?

You have been creaming over him since then, but what has he shown since?

Steven & mcpake aren’t up to it is my opinion, but we will see.

I like Steven coming in from the right on his left foot but Saints never utilize him like that . Perhaps because there is nobody left at club who knows strengths. As someone posted,is he the new Drey , played everywhere but his favoured position.

The last few games of last season I thought MvPake was out best player even occasionally crossing with his left. I have high hopes for him in championship.

You’re criticising a 21 year old winger who was forced into playing left back for us and claiming he hasn’t shown anything. Is it any wonder when he was dealt the hand he was, give the lad a chance in his actual position and see before making a judgement like that. As for McPake he was arguably our best player for the final 6 games of the season in the top flight and didn’t look out of place, but aye he’s clearly lowland league level. I’m not saying I think they’re the answer but this constant need to exaggerate and use hyperbole when speaking negatively is so tiresome.

McPake and Steven arent good enough to play regularly in a team challenging for the Championship = Fair

Steven is barely even Lowland League standard = Not fair

I think Diabate is a very good signing for a club in our current position.

I'm impressed the club have managed to get this over the line.

Also, from his interview on the main website, it seems that he's happy to be here.

All very positive.
