They are a protected species. I think we will have trouble moving them. 3 cop cars sirens blaring just went up the Crieff Rd . Wonder if there is a connection. Poor groundsman will have a problem clearing up the excitement. Quote

Maybe we could do a co-op agreement with them and sign any one they deem surplus to their requirements! Quote

I find it baffling anyone would use the services of a business that they can not get back in touch with and the work has no guarantee on. If no one uses their services- they have to move on quickly. I have heard some horror stories of work and areas being left in a mess. Likely the club will be left with the bill of disposal of anything left. Quote

Mizfit Posted September 7, 2025 Report Posted September 7, 2025 I’d also say he’s not something we need.  Spent a bit of time yesterday looking at who left us last season. From what I can see, Cocks, Cami & Max are the only people yet to get a new club. Quote

Graeme S Posted September 7, 2025 Report Posted September 7, 2025 For a young lad it's a very mature statement, and one that shows a respect for the club, staff and fans. Pity some of our former players couldn't show a similar degree of respect and gratitude. Quote

There are at least a couple of players who left us at the end of last season who I would have expected more from. One in particular who had a lot of people dipping into their pockets while he was going through a difficult time. Edited September 7, 2025 by Willie Peat type error sane_tee 1 Quote

The player that everybody is referring to had a different situation though, even Eric hinted at it in the Spoony Chop last week. We all know the name, but out of respect, none of us are quoting it. Of course it's not a requirement, but a simple, quick thank you would have been enough. It's easy to do in these days of social media. It's like if you'd bought somebody dinner, then they left without saying anything. You're not expecting gratitude, but it'd be nice to get some. It's basic manners. Anyway, good post from Makenzie. I hope he goes on to big things. Edited September 7, 2025 by Gekko Willie Peat 1 Quote
