As I understand it we had a game postponed due to a rule about 3 or more international call ups. One of those call ups is no longer at the club…. Should the game now go ahead?
A tongue in cheek question to highlight a questionable rule……

Good job it’s off. Car park been taken over by gypsies and I don’t think they there to do a tarmac job.

Also we still have three players on international duty I believe.

They are a protected species. I think we will have trouble moving them.

3 cop cars sirens blaring just went up the Crieff Rd . Wonder if there is a connection.

Poor groundsman will have a problem clearing up the excitement.

Maybe we could do a co-op agreement with them and sign any one they deem surplus to their requirements!

I know youre joking but I live 5 minutes away and legitimately have about 6 leaflets through my postbox offering to tarmac my driveway.

I find it baffling anyone would use the services of a business that they can not get back in touch with and the work has no guarantee on.

If no one uses their services- they have to move on quickly.

I have heard some horror stories of work and areas being left in a mess. Likely the club will be left with the bill of disposal of anything left.

Just drove past. From Crieff road looks like easily 15 to 20 caravans across the main car park.

Mostly £100 grand motor homes. Look what you can afford if you don't pay any taxes.

I’d also say he’s not something we need.

Spent a bit of time yesterday looking at who left us last season. From what I can see, Cocks, Cami & Max are the only people yet to get a new club.

Barry Douglas settled his future? Felt like he'd probably retire.

No moves as of yet. I assumed he just retired.
although there’s every chance he either turns up at Queen’s Park or the chicken merchants outfit.

For a young lad it's a very mature statement, and one that shows a respect for the club, staff and fans. Pity some of our former players couldn't show a similar degree of respect and gratitude.

Very true Graeme. There are at least a couple of players who left us at the end of last season who I would have expected more from. One in particular who had a lot of people dipping into their pockets while he was going through a difficult time.

Yes but they didn't leave in big money deals , they were dumped.

The player that everybody is referring to had a different situation though, even Eric hinted at it in the Spoony Chop last week.

We all know the name, but out of respect, none of us are quoting it.

Of course it's not a requirement, but a simple, quick thank you would have been enough.

It's easy to do in these days of social media.

It's like if you'd bought somebody dinner, then they left without saying anything. You're not expecting gratitude, but it'd be nice to get some. It's basic manners.

Anyway, good post from Makenzie. I hope he goes on to big things.
