Scarf twirling Gorgie pricks, they are average, we have lost three times to this lot this season mostly through our own errors no because they are any good.

Yeah but Shankland is on fire again. Our defence is in for a torrid time. We need to hope that the the spirit that was shown today is maintained, if not increased.

It will spin out and not be applicable until a week on Monday when season is over for both these teams.

Reports tonight McInnes has a release clause in his Kilmarnock contract, and Hearts will officially trigger it tomorrow and expect him to be confirmed before Wednesdays game.

Quite remarkable the Saints support this season. Been about 4 years of dreadful football and relegation battles, with us looking doomed for half this season, yet still we dont see a drop off in terms of numbers of fans or how they support the team.

Been bigger clubs with bigger supports who dont stick with their club as much.

What do folk do with the line up here?

Assume we can't play the same line up as Saturday 3 times in a week, so we'll have to rotate in one game.

Do you do it in this game and hope we're still in it for Sunday and go all out? Or do you just take one game at a time and go full strength here?

Too important for all that 3 games in a week or sports science “match day +2” stuff.

Best 11 on the pitch and see where it takes us. Players are about to get weeks and weeks off to recover. Leave it all out there.

Was mostly thinking about Ikpeazu due to him not long being back from a serious injury.

Would you have him 90+ mins Wednesday then Sunday?

It doesn’t have to be quite so black and white.

He's a definite starter after his performance on Saturday and I’d be looking for him to play 60-70 minutes to see where it takes us. You’ve potentially got any one of Sidibeh, Kirk, Clark or Kimpioka coming off the bench to replace him in one of both game. Play your form players. If he struggles or tires, we can sub him.

Don't quite get the logic of resting players for Sunday and Hearts pump us and Ross County win then Sunday is irrelevant.

Guys like Ikpeazu, Sprangler and Fisher who are all carrying knocks just need to be thrown in and we can see where we are coming 60-70 minutes on Wednesday.

personally wouldn't have him playing the full 90 minutes. start him and let him be a nuisance for hearts' defenders and then bring on fresh legs such as kirk or sidibeh and let their pace do its thing.

we will really need to be more clinical on Wednesday as we wont have the same amount of opportunities afforded to us than we did on Saturday. (looking at you sidibeh haha)
