MySpazz
Could probably do without this round tbf. Would much rather a bye!
garydavidson
Interesting that we are pot 1 so, avoiding Livi, we will be getting a team in the same division.
Aitchy
The initial novelty of the group stages has worn off for me. Not a fan of it. Bring back pre season tours or Ireland, much better for the fans! I’ll likely still attend but considering they’ve become pre-season it’s not working anymore. Graeme S

The first season was genuinely brilliant with trips up to Elgin and Brechin but now we just need a couple of friendlies and the first round to settle us in to the season. Managers must hate it, the amount of upsets and pressure it builds before the season even starts is wild. Aitchy
RandomGuy
Just be thankful we avoid most of the farce of the Challenge Cup. PSJ.84
blueheaven
Agree about being fed up with the League Cup format, though I imagine it's probably quite valuable for the smaller clubs who could easily get their biggest home crowds of the season in the group stage. Re the Challenge Cup I'm just disappointed it doesn't still have the English non-league/Welsh/Northern Irish clubs in it. Would have been something different to see Saints play a competitive game against one of those, and potentially a fun away trip too. Â East Kilbride train to and from Glasgow Central every half hour. 6 min taxi to ground or about 40 min walk.
