garydavidson
Easy now, it's not much up from a training game. Can't read too much into it apart from maybe who can and can't convert a penalty. The Kinross Saint

Aitchy
Always difficult to tell too much from a pre season friendly. Thought we started well early on then the wind had an impact on the game. Sinclair looked nervous throughout and was injured in a 50/50 clash. Gullan was promising. Franczak looked really good in a more advanced position. Crying out for a couple of wide players who can take on defenders. Forfar had the ball to Sprangler from goal kicks sussed early on and we were lucky not to lose a couple of goals by losing possession that way. Feel we could do with a more physical presence in the middle of the park. Holt, Sprangler, Svedberg and Stanton not exactly the tallest and I worry they could get bullied. ex-montrosesaintee
Relatively impressed with our new faces today, Stanton and Gullan looked good, defence looked more composed than at any time last season. Passing out from the back is fine if the keeper picks the right pass, instead of wee dinks into a 30mph wind. Took a fair knock in the first half though so maybe criticism is unfair. Encouraging overall garydavidson and blueheaven

blueheaven
I thought we'd have sold more tickets for tonight than we have, given that it's the first home game in a while and a first chance for many to see a lot of the new signings. Loads of seats still available on the ticket site.
Tattie-bogle
Do we have saints TV for this one? Do we have saints TV full stop this year? Would be good to know
akuram
Falkirk tv seem to have coverage, at least audio for £3.00. How are we so hopeless at things like that, us nothing. Tattie-bogle

Tattie-bogle
Ended up going. Falkirk miles ahead of this team. If that is the standard that just scraped up then... Awful goal to lose keeper looked soft. Just about lost one before that by, unsurprisingly pissing about with it at the back. Who team still will rather pass back or sideways even when there is a chance for a shot at an open goal
Tattie-bogle
Better second half so far after subs
Tattie-bogle
Much more encouraging second half. Raymond a man possessed playing further up, more of that. Should of had one if not two. Uche is a unit
MrBored
Yeah much better when the subs came on and they all seemed to up the pace a lot more. Should have really scored a couple of the chances. thought Bright & Raymond combined well on the left, much better than the two they replaced. Diabate looked very solid and comfortable on the ball. Not so sure on Foulds, I'll be nice to him and say he lacks match practice. We are still taking way too long on the ball to find another pass...the pace in the first half on the ball was really poor...but this is a new side and maybe it will just take time to bed in. Gekko
I thought Diabate was good when he went on. He likes a defence splitting pass. Raymond was better than I thought he'd be, and seemed up for it. He could be left side of the midfield three? Both Adama and Uche need a goal. There was a big difference when the subs went on. I suppose it's all about finding the right balance at the moment. It's another ninety minutes and the manager will be getting to know who's good where. They also need time to get used to each other and gel as a team. Hopefully, by the time the league starts they'll be ready.
muirton enclosure
Decent work out . Raymond gets a jersey on Sat for me . The dilemma even now is Baird or the new guy Diamonte? Uche Ixiypeaksy is either going to be horse or will bundle in 30 goals this season . Edited July 8 by muirton enclosure
