The real stuff starts now. There is no way will be as open and play forward like we did against Elgin but hopefully we can be a bit more expansive this season. We have the players.

Are tickets cheaper than last season? Think it’s maybe £1 cheaper?

Hope so! It would have been a nice touch to max them out at £20 given our supporters calls for “Twenty is Plenty”.

Put a hospitality ticket up by a fiver to offset it.

Interesting tactic to split the away fans between the two stands with, initially, quite a gap in them.

Can't imagine there will be many teams that will bring enough fans to fill that allocation?

Going to be a big home support for this one. Quite a lot of excitement about the place again.

New away top sold out, always a good sign as folk will want to ware it at first game . Home kit selling well also.

Hoping for well over 4,000 saintees at this, hopefully more.

Hoping we can be in a position for and promotion push Blue and White Away Day. Last one worked out pretty well - 2009?

I think that I would go as following:

Steward

Tumilty-Diabate-Boyes-Faulds

McAlear-Holt

Gullan-Mallan-McPake

Kirk

Simo seems to prefer Sidebeh as his starting frontman, so will be interesting to see who out of Gullan, Mallan, Kirk and McPake misses out.

I looked at that team and thought Sidibeh has to start then looked again and thought …. So does Gullan Mallon and McPake

Id start Sidebeh with Kirk on bench but having these options is such a good position for us to be in.

For me Kirk as a goalscorer is undroppable. Gullan is on fire aswell so must start. Sidibeh is integral to how we play by stretching the pitch and creating space for Kirk. McPake is in the form of his life and is a confidence player so shouldn’t be dropped.

For me that means Mallan starts on the bench and has to earn his right to play ahead of Kirk, McPake, Sidibeh and Gullan. Unpopular opinion I’m sure!

Hard to disagree with any of that. Gullan is simply and instinctive striker and is a far better option than Kimpioka, Kirk will put away chances and McPake deserves a run in the team. Sibideh looks a different player....still raw and touch is dreadful at times but his headed assist for Kirk and his reverse pass for Gullan were exceptional and would not have happened this time last year.

Mallan will be better than Sibideh as a no. 10 type role....but some games we'll need a bulldozer up there and Adamah is that player.

I've said it before but this current squad is so much better than the shambles that started last season and dare I say it the one that finished the season.

Lots of difficult decisions for Simo but at least he'll not have to play Cameron or Neilson....I mean, what the bloody hell was that all about Levein?

Agree with this. I don't think we can drop any of the front four who started against Elgin. In fact I'd probably stick with exactly the same starting XI as I think they've earned it. Also gives us an exceptionally strong bench with players like Mallan, Sprangler, Ikpeazu and Diabate all likely to come on.

Really looking forward to this game. It's probably going to be our biggest test so far but I think we've every right to feel confident. If we win this we'll have won our first five competitive games of the season and it would be fantastic to keep that run going.
