Saints started very strongly and if things continue this way it is important to get Simo signed up on a new deal 

Mcpake needs a new contract 

Adama needs resigned 

Holt needs an extension as well 

If they want too I've seen this before which is football the better players getting more money elsewhere that's football 

Think a few will be away that aren't making the grade unfortunately 

To be honest I wouldn't be doing much in the January transfer window unless injury's or lack of form requires us too

Getting guys resigned is more important

McPake sounded like he wouldn't be considering any contract talk at the moment but surely he would have to be thinking of it in January when offers will most certainly come in from other teams.

I think the changes to the coaching staff have been a big positive.  I wonder if an addition or two may help even more.  

As for the squad, I think some peripheral figures would be better away.  A lot will depend on whether Lloyd shows promise as the forward line needs to be finding the net more often as a whole not just one individual.

I didn't think the keeper was their main issue. Laidlaw hasn't been that bad.

Weird signing, but follows their pattern to date so hopefully as unsuccessful.

Is the deadline Tuesday and what time.

We need a striker as we will probably lose Sidebeh to world cup qualifiers, African cup and whatever other competitions Uefa can think up.

We also don't lose Adama to the African Cup of Nations, Gambia didn't qualify, so he'll be here over that period. The only games he misses are the qualifiers, but was thinking about this and there's a possibility that Adam Forrester gets called up to the Under 21s and he'd make a third which would allow us to postpone the game. Unlikely, but there's hope there.

Uganda did, so theoretically Uche is the one we'd lose if he was selected.

Running out of time to sign a back up striker.

Looked at the Hearts squad but looks like Wilson is only striker 16 to 21. There will be a few in youth team but doubt if any would suitable for a championship team so looks like we need a loan.

Fran has to go out on loan to give him a chance to grow. Let's face it , unless there is a major injury crisis he is not getting in this team and it's not fair to keep him on the bench just incase. Look what happened to Max.

Mind you not sure if playing at Cove will help him as even with not enough players to fill the bench Mylchreest isn't getting much blame time.

One was a loanee at the tail end of the championship under Davidson, One can’t get into the United team, and the other is a goalkeeper on its way out.

As we are in the dreaded co-operation agreement with the Jambo’s can we loan someone from them at anytime or does it have to be during allotted transfer dates?

Think we have to bring in a back up goalie in January. Thompson is too wee and inexperienced. Sinclair looks like he has problems with his bones as due to one thing or another he has not played much football over the past few seasons. Don't know if the young guy out on loan is ready or can be recalled.
