With the last three games in the first segment of the league we have the opportunity to really build on our performances.  While I normally agree with keeping the same team if performing, I see Airdrie adopting the Morton deep wall.

I thought Vannick gave some surging runs at pace and he would balance McPake on the other side.  If Guillen is fully fit, it must be worthwhile to consider him joining Sidibeth up front as they appeared to play well off each other.

At the very least we have positive options if Simo does change the team.  A 3, 5, 2 system could work well.

Hope McPake is ok after going off with what was hopefully just cramp on Friday. May be an idea to rest him and a couple of players but keep them on the bench incase.

Would be tempted to bring both Wanner and Gullan in for this one. Svedberg to drop out, aswell as possibly giving McPake a rest after his cramping issues on Saturday. He can always be brought on early if required.

Also think I might be tempted to bring Tumilty in at right-back. I don't think he did too much wrong in that position whilst playing and I think it's important that the likes of him, Sprangler and Stanton get occasional playing time incase they are needed more as the season goes on. Also keeps everyone focused on working hard to keep their starting position.

If McPake is fit, he has to start.

Svedberg's done nothing with his opportunities this season (or last) to even deserve a spot on the bench.

Hopefully Gullan's good and should come back into the number 10 spot, moving Kai back out to the right wing. And Tumilty in to give us more of an attacking threat than Forrester.

Like others, I wonder if Simo will rest a few players for this game.

He's hinted in his pre-match stuff that the way McPake plays, means Josh has to use maximum effort all the time. That, plus the fact he went off before the end on Friday makes me think he might start him on the bench.

We have plenty of depth if required and we also need to keep a lot of these guys happy, in case they feel they're being frozen out.

There are so many options, Tumilty, Boyes, Gullan, Stanton all possible changes, but I doubt if the manager would want to overly tweak a winning team.

For me, all pure guesswork, he'll rest at least one of the back four, with Boyes or Tumilty starting.

One of the midfield, maybe Holt, and bring in Sprangler.

McPake being replaced by Gullan.

Maybe, and it's a big maybe, Wanner for Sidibeh? He's the only one at the moment who I think could do a similar job to Adama.

Stanton in for Svedberg?

That's a lot of changes though, and I doubt it'd be that much.

It's good to have options in all the positions, using players who actually play there.

I would imagine that Airdrie will set up similarly to Morton, so having fresh, attacking legs to bring on in the last 20 to 30 minutes could be all important.

I dont think you overthink it. McPake is on fire and doesnt look fatigued starting games so you keep him in there, if he needs to come off at half time then so be it. Same with Sidibeh. They're too important to drop.

3 games this week but then its back to just one game a week through November, we shouldn't be overly worried about players fitness yet.

Does anyone know which stand we are in tonight?

The match at the Albert Bartlett Stadium will kick-off at 7.45pm and Saints fans will be housed in the Ian McMillan Stand (East Stand).

I'm not suggesting he should, or that he will.

I was more pointing out the amount of options he has should he choose to make a change for whatever reason.

No Stanton in the squad again.

If he can't get in the squad with a few injuries, I can't see a future with Saints. Can't see him wanting to be loaned out.

Stanton was signed over a month before Mallan, McAlear,  and Fotheringham, were signed. Presumably the club werent sure theyd get all three and didnt want to risk missing out on Stanton.
