I mean he's said he's interested and his family like the area, so while we can't pay him his current wage there's some chance he'll negotiate. No idea how big a chance mind. Quote
Linky Posted May 7 Report Posted May 7 Robinson might be a possibility, but I imagine Wigan are releasing Kerr because they can’t afford him. He’ll be looking for a Championship move. Hopefully a deal can be done for Paton. Apparently Mitov is on the way out. Quote
garydavidson Posted May 8 Report Posted May 8 Not watched much of Aberdeen but what I did see Mitov didn't seem to be at his best. Quote

He probably earned more in appearance fees and clean sheet bonuses this season with Aberdeen than his basic salary when he was with us. I’m sure he’s delighted! Quote

He saved the winning penalty in Aberdeen’s first Scottish Cup win in over 30 years while we got relegated. He’s now playing regularly for his country too and the financial side mentioned above. The grass absolutely was greener for him. dave mc 1 Quote

Great news on this , I wonder if Saints went the extra mile to try to get the fans onside. 6 month deal for Bozo and that's the backbone of the defence sorted. Stanton next please and the midfield would be just about there. Quote
That_Dave Posted May 8 Report Posted May 8 Good to see the right back role has been sorted out early on. HertsAgain, garydavidson, Cagey and 2 others 4 1 Quote

I went to see Walsall Vs Chesterfield earlier in the season it was £29 and it was absolutely dire! It was like two Craig Levein sides playing against each other! Quote
Linky Posted May 8 Report Posted May 8 Happy to let Sprangler go if a fee is involved. He’d play a part if he stays but wouldn’t be first choice. Great news about Diabate but Stanton is the big one Quote

Sven has premiership experience and can cover a few position so unless we are going to get £100k minimum I would keep him. sixties saintee, Graeme S and sane_tee 3 Quote

I think his season in the Championship will have done him a world of good. The standard of striker in Scotland might not be amazing, but it's a big step up going into the Premiership. Had we signed him last season, surrounded by a team low in confidence and getting beat regularly (including himself admitting that he was struggling with the game before joining us), I believe he wouldn't have lasted long and we wouldn't have seen the best of him. This season gives him a base to build from. He will have to be on his A game most weeks and can't afford any slack play or switching off. Wouldn't mind seeing us bring in a rough and ready CB with experience in the league to play alongside him. A Baird type, just maybe a small step up in quality. Quote

Cagey Posted May 10 Report Posted May 10 Craig Hepburn been given a 3 year contract. EK have pretty good highlights of every game and haven't seen anything to suggest he will be any more than a competent goalie. Would have given him a year and see how it went. Quote
