Worth noting only the Family stand is free for U13s, guess that means we've ditched that for away fans too.

Also means, I guess,  u13s don't get in free for category A games.

On the whole pricing seems fair. 3 stands for Old Firm seems crazy, especially if we sell 4000 season tickets....where does everyone go? Are we balloting season ticket holders for home games?

U13s arent free in any stand but the "Family Stand", those in the East are being charged £90.

I dont think the club fully appreciate how much theyve ****ed this up, fans arent just cash cows who'll just blindly accept this like morons because you put a wee video of Simo trying his best up.

Totally ruined virtually all their hard work and have probably done even worse than Steve Brown considering even he didnt take away the free u12s tickets.

Date of birth.

What format do they want when renewing season tickets.

Tried a few variations without success.

Maybe the IT isn't set up to recognise a 19th century birth.

Yeah I renewed and noticed £60 against my 12 Yr old. I'm ok in that I can absorb that but it's come out of the blue a bit. I'm around and extra £80, not justifiable for some.

So for OF games is it a free for all in the main stand or do you get an allocated seat which I doubt.

Do the Main stand st holders get to keep their seat or are they part of the 4000 trying to squeeze into 3000 seats.

Will there be enough capacity in Ormond for Hearts, Hibs,Aberdeen , Dundee and United. If not I would imagine a few will be in East.

This is an absolute ****ing shambles. So a family stand ticket represents great value? Not for the fans that attend ALL the games including old firm and hearts (ie the loyal ones) as will be paying extra to move seats for those games. Jesus ****ing wept man.

Loyal fans attending all games totally shafted.

Giving up my seat in the East would be slightly easier to take if I was allowed to pick an allocated seat in Main Stand when buying my season ticket so I knew where I was sitting for those 3 games but it doesnt give me that option. A medical condition means I dont cope well with the stairs in there so wouldnt want to be too many rows off the concourse. Its why I sit where I do in East.

It also takes you away from the people you sit with at home games, people you only know through the football but you ve spoke to them for years, ruins the experience.

Cost wise, I cant complain, where I sit is lowest price in East anyway but can see why some folk upset. A person sitting one row behind where I do will  be paying £75 more.

There wont be 3000 season ticket holders in the GB stand for OF games

You have to remove the hospitality, new and existing, from that figure.

Been suggested itll be around 2500.

Suspect they are assuming that enough loyal fans will not renew as they are being well and truely shafted by this pricing structure. I think they’re taking a big gamble. We don’t know what quality of team they’ll be able to field. I’ve had my season ticket in the ‘premium’ section of the East stand for about 20 years and giving serious thought to NOT renewing.

How to ruin the current feel good factor in one fell swoop!

Whilst I can understand the financial benefits of giving the OF 3 stands it is a huge kick in the teeth for the supporters who will be moved out of their normal seats to accommodate them and to all who contributed to the cost of the safe standing area only for it to be given over to away support in its first full season in existence.

Our home average league crowd this season was in excess of 4,500 which means if the same amount or more wanted to attend a game involving the OF in the coming season many would be turned away to accommodate opposition supporters.

I also think many season ticket holders will be giving serious thought on whether to renew if they are getting messed about in this way which would obviously decrease revenue and also could mean less home support at non OF games too.

I’m sure that playing in front of 3 stands of partisan supporters will not help the players either.

I also suggest the directors have a look at the video footage of the last OF cup game to see what they are encouraging to attend McDiarmid Park.

Rant over.😇

I'm in the same boat (30 yrs in the Premium section). Seriously considering moving to the GB stand now to ensure that I can be sure of gettting a decent seat for games. But as it stands you can't buy any of the PRemium+ seats in the GB stand that I can see. Don't want to move since it takes me away from friends etc but if the alternative is that I'm not guaranteed a seat for all home games then I might do so.

When we had the OF in the past East Stand ticketholders were allocated seats in the main stand for the OF games - surely they should be able to do something similar. At least then they'll have to develop a process for when the main stand seats run out for the OF games.

After many decades. I won't be renewing mine. Time to pick and choose the games I fancy.

I have paid for a season ticket for years, knowing I will miss Sunday rearranged games, but did it to support the club and do my bit. I don't feel I owe the club any form of loyalty with this decision.

If the supporter that chooses to put their hard earned cash into backing their local team, is shown by action they are not as important when the Old Firm comes to town, then why bother?

I'm sure the club will be inundated by disgruntled fans due to the OF arrangements, whether they take that on board is a different matter.   I have just emailed them to advise of my reason for not renewing my ST

I've been generally supportive of the new regime since they arrived, but to me this feels like a real own goal, for multiple reasons:

- The whole pricing structure is really confusing and offputting, and it doesn't help that the price chart on the website is of really poor quality which makes it difficult to zoom in on and read properly.

- Am I right in thinking this limits how many season tickets the club can sell, because everyone needs to be able to fit into the non-padded seats of the Geoff Brown Stand (I'm assuming fans being moved from other stands won't be able to choose the padded seats) - so that puts the limit at somewhere between 2,500 and 3,000? I thought the aim was to grow the home support, not restrict it.

- The new arrangements also limit the number of away fans who can come to games. If we end up with a crucial game this season against someone like Aberdeen, Dundee or Dundee United, who could conceivably bring a big support, there will no longer be an area of the Main Stand to put them in. I don't see how this benefits us as a club that is trying to maximise income?

- I currently sit in what I think are pretty good seats, towards the back of the Main Stand, fairly close to the padded seats. It looks like my ticket is going to go up from £395 to £415 (a 5% increase). That's fine. I can live with that. But my Dad, who sits in the seat right next to me, is seeing his seniors ticket go up from £250 to £300 (a 20% increase). And what's really crazy is that a seat in the middle of the East Stand will now cost £425. So a ticket in the East Stand, with the sun in your eyes and significantly less leg room, will now cost more than a pretty good Main Stand ticket. Surely that makes no sense?

- Why do the confusing price variants not apply to the walk-up prices? It looks like a walk-up fan can just go to the East Stand or the Main, and sit in any section they like, and just pay a flat price for it. Is that fair?

- What is the club going to do to prevent people from simply buying seats in cheaper areas and moving to more expensive areas once the game starts? In a full stadium it's difficult to do that, but McDiarmid is rarely full which means people can basically sit where they like. It seems to me that this is going to create friction among fans, especially as we no longer have 'reserved' stickers.

- There are all sorts of reasons why people choose to sit where they sit, but it's always been the case at McDiarmid that the fans who want to make some noise during the game tend to gravitate towards the north end of the East Stand. This pre-dates the FCU by many years and means our singing fans are close to the away fans, which helps the home support to drown out the away support. I assume that's why the FCU ended up where they ended up. But now, the away fans are going to be at the other end of the ground with nothing to drown them out. Does that really help the atmosphere from a Saints perspective?

- Is the north stand really better for families? It's further away from the car park, and it'll often mean fans having the sun in their eyes. I'm fairly sure that's why it was made the away stand in the first place. Plus, our fans will now be in a nameless stand while the Ormond Stand - named after a St Johnstone legend - will house visiting supporters. At the very least, this change should see the north stand given a proper name (the Tommy Wright Stand please).

- Most disappointing of all is the decision to give the Old Firm three stands. In the past I've understood the club's desire to cash in on these games as much as possible, but it really felt to me that this was the ideal time to make a big concerted effort to change that. Do a big, positive push on getting home fans to come to these games. Use the feel-good factor built up by our promotion and really try to fill as much of the stadium as possible with St Johnstone fans. If it doesn't work, then they could at least say they'd tried, and that would justify reverting to filling the ground with the OF later in the season. But this just feels like we're chucking in the towel without even trying, and that's a major disappointment. I wanted to see us try a new approach to these games - not just do the same things that everyone already hated and we know was keeping our own fans away. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we see another home fan boycott of one of these games, and the Geoff Brown Stand ends up sitting largely empty. If that happens, Adam Webb and co will be entirely deserving of it, and they're also deserving of the criticism they're going to take over this, because countless fans have told them how they feel about this issue and they quite simply have not listened.

- Those of you who chipped in to raise money for the safe standing section - how are you feeling about knowing you've chipped in for an area for the Union Bears and the Green Brigade to come here and have a great little time in? Not great, is it? Just a thought, but maybe someone at the club who was involved in all of that might have communicated that this was on the cards before people started asking for money?

If they wanted to completely kill the promotion buzz, they've done a wonderful job of it. Just like many of us on here, I've done what the new regime asked of me as a fan. I've spent my money on tickets, on merch, I even bought club shares (which, let's face it, were vastly overpriced) for myself and my Dad . What they're doing now honestly just feels like a bit of a kick in the teeth.

OK I've bitten the bullet and emailed ticketsales at the club with the following - hopefully get some answers for here or on their FAQ

I'm currently a Premium season ticket holder in the East Stand. Given the announcement today about 2026/27 season tickets can you please answer the following:
1. For Category A games against the Old Firm as an East Stand ST holder am I guaranteed a seat in the GB stand for these games?
2. Given the extra I am now expected to pay for a "Premium" view in the East Stand, if I am moved to the GB stand for these games do I get the same view or am I expected to put up with a reduced match experience?
3. Looking at the puchase options on the GB stand it seems that there are no Premium+ tickets available - is this the case or is it a glitch with Fanbase?
4. What steps are the club going to take to ensure that someone with a walkup Entry level ticket doesn't occupy a seat in one of the more expensive categories?

I have just renewed my West Stand Season Ticket. An extra £20 but I am Ok with that. I understand inflation is impacting on everyone but the clubs costs are increasing too. I seem to remember our Season Ticket sales are around 2200 so there will be enough capacity in the West Stand to cope with it for CAT A matches and many will actually have a better view of the game in better seats. I would love to have a situation like Hearts where the ground is a sell out for home fans and the away support (even the old firm) only get a small allocation. That will never happen as we just do not have that support. Giving away 3 stands is not ideal but if it boosts the finances and we can put better players on the park as a consequence I am for it. I appreciate others will not have the same view but I understand where the Club is coming from.

It was around 3500 last season, from what I remember hearing.

I can see your opinion but every fan in the current Premium section of the East Stand will not get a better view since we're not allowed into the padded seats section.

Season ticket sales of 2200 were hopefully going to increase this year - currently the club have done little to incentivise this - raising prices, removing the u-13 access as well as moving fans. But even a moderate increase on the 2200 will push it pretty close to the 25-2600 limit in the GB stand. If we have a situation where any East Stand season ticket holder is deprived admission because of this then it will make the Rangers Cup disaster under Flax look like a well-organised decision.

IMHO the club should have pushed season ticket sales without moving fans. Give the Ormond/North to the OF if need be but otherwise prioritise the guys that will turn up week after week (no matter what league we're in). At least do this until the start of the season once we know what season ticket sales are - as it is, if sales are semi-decent despite the prices etc, the club are setting themselves up for a fall.
