I feel that the Ormond stand now being the away end is an attempt to keep potential problems away from the Fanzone rather than the North stand being better for family’s .

The club shop though is now in the away end meaning someone with kids has to walk through away fans twice to buy merchandise.

I can also wee potential issues after games, Dundee for example when we leave the East at same time as they come out the Ormond .

Seeing a bit of a narrative appearing in some sections that this has all come from the consultancy firm and that the club will be shocked by the response received from fans yesterday, and I'm deeply sceptical about both points.

I was one of the people the consultancy firm spoke to. The conversation was very much focussed around matchday culture and routines. They wanted to know what time I arrive at the ground, who I sit with, whether I spend any money at games, how long I've been going, how often I've moved seat, etc etc. They seemed very tuned in to the general notion of fan community and culture and I got the sense that they understood how important it is for fans to be able to sit in their own familiar section, with their own friends and family, and the social groups that build up around where people sit. Based on that, I have big doubts that this firm would have come away from those conversations and recommended that Saints just disregard all of that and chuck a big grenade into the middle of people's routines and groups. That doesn't make sense to me. My feeling is that the club has listened to the results of the consultation and then just done what it wanted to do regardless. (Also bear in mind that this same consultancy firm worked with Kilmarnock, but from what I can see, Kilmarnock haven't done any of this stuff at Rugby Park.)

I also think people need to ditch this idea that Adam Webb and co were oblivious to the reaction these changes would get from the fans. They knew exactly what they were doing. They knew these moves would be unpopular. They knew the fans would be furious. They'll be prepared for this, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if whatever is said today has been pre-planned too. Don't fall for it. Perhaps they'll make minor tweaks to what has been announced, but on the whole they're doing this stuff whether we like it or not. In fact, I now have the impression that us fans liking it or not is at the very bottom of their list of concerns.

Can't believe 500 renewed on day 1. Is is it spin by Saints or new purchases try to get a good seat or some changing to cheaper seats.

It's a long time til 16 th June so I will just hang fire to wait and see what transpires but at the moment I am minded not to renew.

I'm holding off on renewing as I'm looking at over £300 increase. I assumed the renewals will mainly be the single attendees whose seats have gone down by a fiver

Yes, people saw the value and paid, cos they wanted to be there and that price was the price people were willing to pay.

Same with Saints ~£400 for a season ticket to a top league..... a bargain.

Family Stand ticket being invalid for Cat A games aswell, so based on 24/25 theres 5 games where those tickets arent invalid and u13s arent free.

So 1 adult and 2 u13s pay £250 for potentially 13 games, and then potentially an extra £250 walk in for the 5 games their season ticket isnt valid for.

18 league plus 2 cup.... = 20

We'll get pummeled 5-0 because it's effectively a home game for them. You applaud the support and you rape our culture. SHAME ON YOU...

Regardless of the fact that you can’t charge away fans more, going down that route would have me similarly angry. Football fans need to stick together on stuff like this; we are all treated as an afterthought and charged too much.

I am fully aware what the club are actually charging extra for.

Doesn't work like that though in reality though, expectations of the whole experience will rise and there will be other side effects the club and their consultants didn't think that in the mind of some a better view just doesn't counter the chsnge in policy.

Not a great comparison is it, Oasis would sell out numerous times, saints season tickets are atotal different market!

The price in general isn't bad its the extra for premium for a 10k ground, the under 13s losing the benefit in all other stands, moving behind a goal etc and the 3 stand thing that get people frustrated, I'm actually cheaper down the front but just think the lack of foresight in all this will lose people and a club this size can't alienate their core support.

But hopefully you get out your video message out tonight Fran, as your fighting your case on here! LAUGH OUT LOUD

Longer the videos taking the more I reckon they’re scrambling. Webb was sending out emails at 6am Over there.
