A cap? A lot of leagues around the world have capped expenditure on signings and especially wages. There's infrastructure costs and operating costs for development, but it seems a bit Infantino. St Mirren increased their season ticket prices 2 or 3 years back in exchange for limiting the Old Firm to just one stand. Sounds like a great idea to me, wish we could have tried the same. Its like all clubs you get good bits like free child tickets at some places wheras St M charge £7. We are charging St M fans £26 to come to Perth with a free child family stand option. Looks like most away tickets prices this season will be about £30. An adult and 12 year old will be £42 for tickets tomorrow. Take into account travel and food/drinks and they won’t have any change out of £70. It’s little wonder that more and more people are picking and choosing away games and instead watching them on fire sticks in the comfort of their own homes. Will never match the experience of being at a game, but many can’t afford to be paying over £80 a month on just match tickets (next away game is Hearts. Tickets for an adult and 12 year old will cost £39). Cant see us making any changes to the starting line up tomorrow. Great result for St Mirren last week, albeit it against an apparently dire Falkirk team. We are more than capable of getting a result though. 4 or 6 points would be a great start for us. Quote

St mirren had the best chance of the game but steward made a great stop. Saints trying to break quickly when they get the ball. Much more defensively solid this week and less gung-ho in our pressing. Phil D Posted August 8 Report Posted August 8 A poor second half from saints. Miss a penalty and then concede a stupid penalty and were unable to put enough pressure on to get an equaliser. The lack of quality that we feared a couple of weeks ago was evident today. Need to take penalty chances when they come and Gullan didn't look confident. Lloyd also needs to do better with a chance at the end. Felt like st mirren wanted it more in second half and were that wee bit quicker but that's maybe me being harsh Quote
