Rodgers Posted May 20, 2008 Report Posted May 20, 2008 Not long now, Man Utd v Chelsea i think Man utd will win, as i just generaly hate chelsea:LAUGH OUT LOUD: and well man utd are playing better football but in these games, form does not matter. Chelsea have a really strong midfield and man utd might not be as strong but the likes of scholes and carrick know what they need to do. Ronaldo hasnt really performed well against Chelsea in the past but hopefully its all going to change. Squads for tomorrow: Man Utd squad: Van der Sar, Kuszczak, Heaton; Brown, Evra, Ferdinand, Vidic, Neville, O'Shea, Pique, Silvestre, Anderson, Fletcher, Hargreaves, Carrick, Scholes, Giggs, Nani, Park, Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez, Saha, Welbeck. Chelsea: tbc am going for 2-1 man utd Quote
TheBigCheese Posted May 20, 2008 Report Posted May 20, 2008 Not fussed who wins as long as it's better than the snorefest that was last year's FA cup final. Quote
Ronaldo Posted May 20, 2008 Report Posted May 20, 2008 I hope it's an open game too but somehow I doubt it so a bit excitement here and there would be nice. Quote
Noose76 Posted May 20, 2008 Report Posted May 20, 2008 I've never been less excited about a game of football although I hope Chelski win it with a Drogba dive Quote
Grovesred Posted May 20, 2008 Report Posted May 20, 2008 I think I hope Man Utd win it, but I can't come up with any reason (not even a spurious one) to justify it and provoke an argument. I think I'll paint a wall and watch it dry as an entertaining alternative to watching the game. Quote
Kevin Posted May 20, 2008 Report Posted May 20, 2008 I really don't give a shit who wins, can't stand either team! Quote
Broggy Man Posted May 20, 2008 Report Posted May 20, 2008 I really don't give a shit who wins, can't stand either team! yep same here Quote
blueheaven Posted May 20, 2008 Report Posted May 20, 2008 I think these two teams know each other far too well, and that will probably kill the game (in the same way that it is slowly killing this rubbish tournament). I'll probably watch The Apprentice instead. Quote
Stamford Saintee Posted May 20, 2008 Report Posted May 20, 2008 am going for 2-1 man utd Am going for 2-1 for the other team! Looks like Ashley Cole won't be playing due to an injury in training, should be a boost for Chelsea! Quote
Barca-Saintee Posted May 20, 2008 Report Posted May 20, 2008 Looks like Ashley Cole won't be playing due to an injury in training, should be a boost for Chelsea! couldn't happen to a nicer guy Quote
Finners Posted May 20, 2008 Report Posted May 20, 2008 English football is overrated, so an all english team Champions league final will no doubt result in a snore-fest (as mentioned above). English football has proven to be pretty boring e.g. the two previous times cheslki and liverpool played eachother in europe there was one goal over 4 games.... BUT all i want is lots of goals, controversy and excitement. Quote

BUT all i want is lots of goals, controversy and excitement. While the Liverpool-Chelsea ties from previous years were pretty dull affairs, you can't really complain about the Arsenal-Liverpool and Chelsea-Liverpool ties this year - loads of people predicted that they would be dull but they turned out to be great matches. Finals are often dull - I don't see why this is more likely just because the two teams are English. Quote
SaintDougie Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 Dont really mind who wins this, as long as its a good game. Considering Both the semi's were pish and the uefa cup was probably the worst European final i've ever witnessed. Quote
Scobby_SJFC Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 hope Man Utd gub them, and keep another trophy away from Romans wallet. Quote
stanley saint Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 i'm hoping for fight s red cards and pitch invasions and angry russian police getting baton happy Quote
Dooj Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 hope Man Utd gub them, and keep another trophy away from Romans wallet. Is Abramovich any worse than the Glasers? Quote
Rodgers Posted May 22, 2008 Author Report Posted May 22, 2008 i so glad man u won it same, what a game Quote
stanley saint Posted May 22, 2008 Report Posted May 22, 2008 drogba what a diddy, but a good game to watch though Quote
Ronaldo Posted May 24, 2008 Report Posted May 24, 2008 Surprisingly great game. I thought before hand or at least hoped against the possibilty of both teams cancelling each other out which can often happen when teams know each other too well. Take the SPL as an example. Quote
Cagey Posted May 24, 2008 Report Posted May 24, 2008 Why is it that everyone is taking great delight in it being Terry that missed the winning pen. He is a player you would love to have in your team but you hate in your opponents,so it looks like a backhanded compliment. Maybe is is just he is a dislikable guy who snots on the back of opposition players, especially the guys Teves`s height. Quote
saint sid Posted May 24, 2008 Report Posted May 24, 2008 Why is it that everyone is taking great delight in it being Terry that missed the winning pen?. because he is a nob! Quote
