1884 Posted April 2, 2006 Author Report Posted April 2, 2006 Would like to say what a fantastic day it was again, and a big 'thankyou' to awbuddy that contributed to Breast Cancer Care by donating money to our 'Swear Box'. The air must have turned very blue cos we raised a grand total of £200.25 in the tin itself. When we left McD we took in the Parlour Derby at The 208 in aid of The 208 Domino Team and The MacMillan Cancer Trust. Unfortunately, there wasn't a big turn-out for the event so if it wasn't for us being there it wouldn't have gone ahead. However, they raised just under £600 and because we had helped make the night a success The 208 Domino Team decided to donate £150 of their takings for the evening to our Swear Box for Breast Cancer Care, taking our final total to £350.25 so a huge thanks to The 208 Domino Team also!
