henryhallsdanceband Posted December 10, 2008 Report Posted December 10, 2008 Hi there Don't know how I've missed this forum after all those years reading Temple of Saints and in the past Blue Heaven. Anyway - though in exile in deepest darkest England this Surrey Saintee is well chuffed that we're top of of the pile at the moment - long may we stay there. Quote
StDuncM Posted December 10, 2008 Report Posted December 10, 2008 Welcome to the fourm, my fellow exiled friend. Sometimes quiet, sometimes busy! Sometimes tame, sometimes controversial! Enjoy! Quote
henryhallsdanceband Posted December 10, 2008 Author Report Posted December 10, 2008 Cheers Saints supporters down here are almost as rare as they were when I was at school in Glasgow - I still have to put up with followers of TFOE and TFOD though. Quote
The ghost of Jim Morton Posted December 10, 2008 Report Posted December 10, 2008 Wellcome HH. This is certainly the place for Saints fans...Hope you enjoy.... Quote

henryhallsdanceband Posted December 11, 2008 Author Report Posted December 11, 2008 I use henryhallsdanceband (HHDB) elsewhere on other message boards and nobody has a feckin' clue what I'm on about. I just have a wee picture in my minds eye of Henry merrily dancing his way around defences back then with the rest of the boys being his backing band (as it were). And as they say (well I do) - you cannae take the P out of HHDB! Quote
saint jason Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 Henry Hall................he's the leader of the band you know. Welcome aboard amico. Quote
St. Atholl Posted September 5, 2025 Report Posted September 5, 2025 I assume this is the thread to post in if you're new. I'm an Aussie living in Melbourne; mother is from Blair Atholl and moved to Perth (Aus) of all places around the age of 8 in the 1960s. I've followed the Saints for maybe 15 years or so, although mostly through news reports and the occasional highlights.Ā My brother is (unfortunately) a Celtic fan, having been influenced by a number of Irish mates and having an Irish missus. In 2006 I managed to get to Scotland for only a few days, staying in Blair Atholl and visiting the Pitlochrie distillery. This season looks very promising and hopefully results in a quick jump back into the top tier.Ā Ā If anyone else is an Aussie Saintee, feel free to reach out and message me. Otherwise I look forward to following what is hopefully a fruitful and prosperous season. blueheaven, Coltrane, glenrothes saintee and 1 other 3 1 Quote

Welcome⦠Alsoā¦neat that you posted on this thread - gosh have I really been here since Dec 2008ā¦lots have happened in my life and the world since thenā¦a lot of good but too much difficult or rubbish. Ā The good? Ā Well letās just reflect on cup wins. Ā The rubbish? Ā Best to not reflect on that so Iāll leave it in the past. Another bit of good was a long tour ādown underā in 2019 during which we visited Melbourne and drove the Great Ocean Road to Adelaideā¦stopping off for a few night in Dunkeld, Victoria along the way. Ā If you happen that way (itās a fair distance even for you) they have drawings of Dunkeld Cathedral in their little community museum and the local golf club, Grampians GC, has a ātwinningā with Dunkeld (and Birnam) GC. COYS I grew up In Perth (Aus) but have been in Melbourne just over 10 years now.Ā Great place and the Great Ocean Road is a spectacular drive.Ā You chose a good time to drive it too, just before Covid. The closest I got to Dunkeld (Vic) was in or around 2020, when my partner and I drove to the Barossa Valley in South Australia, however we took the coast route home through Portland, just south of Hamilton and Dunkeld. Australia is so vast, but it allows for some great golf courses and scenery.Ā My golf game is pretty average (despite almost 2 years of experience) however I'd love to play a round in Scotland one day.Ā Quote
pezza70 Posted September 8, 2025 Report Posted September 8, 2025 Iām in Sydney but head down to Melbourne of term for footy. we should have a beer next time Iām down that way Ā Quote
