Kyle
Heard something similar tonight. Quite gutted, and really hope it isn't true.

Mike180279
Mowbray is still WBA Manager to discuss personal terms later today?. Very surprised if this is true.

Finners
unless its official im not buying it - we're getting relegated if he goes, i cant see anyone who will replace him who will do a good enough job
CynicalSaintee
I don't buy it. I've looked around the internet and there's not a whiff or smidgen about it.
Dilated Pupil
Not that I want to further invigorate what is a so-far unsubstantiated rumour, but I did find GB's lack of clarity on this issue to be slightly concerning. That said, why have championship teams gone overboard with Scots' managers? I'm sure there are plenty of qualified candidates in various English leagues- and let's face it- Div 1 is comparatively fairly low down the leagues in England. Del to stay- as GB says, he would get more from taking Saints through a season in the SPL, with no real detriment to his CV if it all goes wrong. Del would get a sniff at (I suspect) better quality teams than a guy who has been in charge for 18 months and not really proven beyond an SFL promotion. This is hopefully just the usual close-season rubbish. He ain't Ronaldo!
MUZZ
Del did his job and his stock is high at the moment. He's quite right to go. However, some people have to get wise and realise he ain't a messiah and life goes on. All the best Del.
101 Saint
Paul Sheerin will be the next St.Johnstone manager after McInnes. Is the above quote factual or feeling?
sleepless
I'm not much bothered if he goes. Probably as well he does, to get it over with. Otherwise, throughout next season any time a vacancy comes up he'll be linked to it and it'll be unsettling for the players and club. SPL is so weak we'll have no difficulty staying up, whoever the manager is.
Carse of Gowrie Saint
Is the above quote factual or feeling? I think it's a year too early for Paul Sheerin.

StDuncM
Saints are looking for a new manager. This was posted just before the witching hour, no doubt fuelled by some Amber Nektar!
john1962
According to Sunday Mail Alan Irvine is WBAs preferred option. He could cost them £1M.

Marty
although it has not been confirmed yet, i have a feeling that del will be going. He would be stupid to turn down the west brom job and good luck to him IF he does go!
Widge
I believe he will stay for at least another year. WBA want promotion to the EPL, McInnes has never brought in big money players, never really had big pressure on him, whereas Irvine is a more mature and sensible option. And its not like they now lack the cash
templeofsaints
If he's offered the job he'd be daft not to go. The question is how much the WBA board want to gamble on him given his relative inexperience of top-flight football (Owen at least had his cup pedigree to back him up)
N G E
He is not going anywhere . I was speaking to a relation of his last night , He is not moving because of his kids
Dave H
too much talk about this subject, i would really be surprised if indeed he were to stay? although it could be a blessing in disguise. I could have got Saints promoted out the first division this season! Would very much like him to stay though, see what he has got to offer in a tougher climate.
