Broon 1,273 Report post Posted May 16, 2011 stephen dobbie scoring swansea's second goal in the play offs Whenever anyone asks me what I thought of Owen Coyle at Saints I alway say he was rubbish and Dobbie is the main reason for that. It was so obvious watching him that he was significantly better than anything we had but Coyle seen fit to loan him to Dumbarton. If you were not one of Coyle's pets you could forget about playing - full stop.
Honest Saints Fan 1,613 Report post Posted May 16, 2011 Whenever anyone asks me what I thought of Owen Coyle at Saints I alway say he was rubbish and Dobbie is the main reason for that. It was so obvious watching him that he was significantly better than anything we had but Coyle seen fit to loan him to Dumbarton. If you were not one of Coyle's pets you could forget about playing - full stop. My first ever football game was watching Dobbie play for Dumbarton against Stenhousemuir. Unbelievable talent, scored a double that day. Still amazes me that he was playing in Scotlands 4th division!
