blueheaven Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Ruti for me - thought he was absolutely superb, possibly one of his best games yet. Quote
Broggy Man Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Score a hat-trick, you get MOM. Them be the rules! he didnt though Quote
mainstand Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 he didnt though OH YES HE DID!! See the official site!! Quote
ST GAZ Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Score a hat-trick, you get MOM. Them be the rules! Bollox Rusty bits by a country mile Quote
Tranmere Saintee Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Was deliberating between Ruti & Jason - but the hat-trick swings it to Jason Quote
Mr_Plow Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Tough one for me today. Scotland got a hat-trick and held the ball up well and had good linkage with the midfield. Rusty Bits led the line, played Scotland in for the opener and made timely challenges. I'll go for Scotland. Quote
templeofsaints Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Scotland for me with mentions for Rusty and Savo Quote
Kevin Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 MOM for Saints was James, always in the thick of things, hacked mercilessly and still kept his cool, For thematchoverall, it was Barry John Corr for those fantastic saves he made that kept Stranraer in the game The Savo gola was my call as nobody on the gantry could see what had happened and, as far as I could see, Savo's cross had gone into/was going into the net when Jas headed it, probablt when it had crossed the line. Am looking forward to seeing the goal on Scotsport and also the 'official' photo proof Quote
Cagey Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Ruti. The guy is immense. Hope he is still with us next season & I would make him captain. The way he talked quietly to Ando when he made a hash of a clearance was more of a captains role than the way James ranted at everyone but mainly I think Mensing when we lost the first goal. Quote
Steve Maskrey Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Scotland for his hat-trick and his performance today outlines his importance in the Saints team. Rusty came a close second. He was outstanding and as Cagey says, worthy of being captain. Lead the line well when James looked very shakey Quote
Two Js Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Difficult, very difficult but I suppose I better stick to the rules and give it to Jason just ahead of Rusty. Quote
auld reekie saint Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Jason. Frustrates sometimes but there is an air of excitement everytime he gets the ball to his feet, Great first goal. Quote
Nick Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Jase for me, but big mentions to Ruti, who was his normal immence self, and Savo, who changed the tempo of the game when he came on. Quote
malcolm Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 scotland for me - but we had a good view and I don't think he touched the ball for the second goal Quote
pezza70 Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Sky website had Savo for the 2nd, the BBC has Scotland for a hatrick? Quote
Kyle Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 Mensing for me. Rusty, Jason and Savo all did really well too though IMO Quote
