  1. I think people are forgetting that Tommy and Neil are very good friends so I can’t see it happening either. But I would rule nothing out.
  2. For 1st looked to me like the ball went between Wright and Alston with Blair moving his head towards ball as it went past probably not enough height in the wall. The third was poor from Zander and seemed to go through him. Move on to Wednesday with hopefully a better performance and an attacking line up I.e 2 up front.
  3. At risk of being wooshed here but....... No season tickets are not valid in the sense that you have still to pay for entry to the match either by: 1. buy a ticket in advance after match today which is a valid option if you are ST holder or on saints database, most saints fans will have one of those options available to them. 2. ST holders also have the option of pay at gate on the night but you need to show your ST book in order to do so and your seat is not guaranteed.
  4. Ask again in approximately 6 hours and you may get a response.
  5. First league game is away from home, the saints really do know how to market things for maximum interest and profitability.....
  6. It's also on the official site with BINN announced as main sponsors, MKM as back of strip sponsors and A+B taxis also involved. New strips to be revealed on Monday and available to buy on Tuesday. Hope that covers all main aspects of negativity towards club regards sponsors and strips availability......
  7. Perhaps he hasn't signed the new contract yet and it was only put on the table when Dundee Utd. came snooping.....
  8. Greatest ever St Johnstone FC day in my lifetime to date..... we can but dream. Mon the blues.
  9. Not sure Tommy would risk an unnecessary sub goalie, Mannus may well be subbed depends how the game pans out, likewise with Midge. Make no mistake Tommy will be trying to win the game, with goal difference of only -2 on Motherwell then 7th place is not out of the question and Stevie Brown will have made that clear. I would imagine the players end of season bonus is also reflective of final placing. Above all saints should be trying to impress the fans at home, as the games at McD this season have been largely poor and forgettable bar the first month.
  10. Alston is too one paced to play on the wings and this showed on Saturday. I think MOH is clearly talented but doesn't have the natural football brain that Scougall has. MOH was consistently hanging back when he should have been getting up the wing and receive the ball further up the park as it stood he was often having to take on 3 or 4 before finding any space to run into. He was giving himself far too much to do and typically was tackled or lost control of ball. This and his lack of tracking back for his misplaced pass for 2nd goal leads me to think he's not the smartest. Would still like saints to keep him though.
  11. With language such as that are you not being a tad hypocritical
  12. Think you may be referring to a BT sport match, possibly the Aberdeen Cup tie, it was Chris Sutton who did the interview in the Royal George hotel.

  14. From the Motherwell highlights it shows a Spoony cross but Macca definitely got a flick on it to take the ball over the Well defender onto Swanson. Not sure who gets the 'assist' in that case. Anyway great win and another deserved 3 points, although game looked quite end to end from highlights and could have gone the other way had Motherwell taken their chances.
