A good run out this afternoon in Methven saw us run out winners against Saints Seniors FFIT in what was a good competitive game in the first 20 minutes before the fitness of our full time squad paid dividends! Nice to hear of a couple of players changing teams at half time to help each other out as well. I have been looking into getting us proper PSJ badged strips and sponsorship which I will hopefully reveal later this week. Another option I've looked at is getting PSJ tracksuits but unfortunately the funds don't go that far. There is the opportunity for you to buy your own PSJ embroidered tracksuit top (same style as the photo) with your initials on it for £24.50. I know this won't be for everyone but if you fancy it then let me know and I'll add it to the order. Would be good to know by Wednesday evening who wants one.

IFA British Cup Challenge Final I am delighted to announce that the IFA British Cup final will be on Saturday 15th July at Airdrie's 10,000 seater Excelsior Stadium. 11am kick off Please bear this mind for your travel arrangements if saints are playing away in Europe on the Thursday before. The cost of the 50 seater bus going through to the final has been discounted down to £7 a head. It will leave from McDiarmid Park at 9am on the 15th July. Please can everyone let me know asap if you plan to take the bus and if you require additional tickets? This is for all players, friends, family and anyone else coming through to watch.

Still working on it and hoping to use Airdrie's excelsior stadium. However, the final is traditionally played on the Friday before the worldnet tournament in july. This year it is in Nottingham and I have requested the game be played in Scotland as neither ourselves or Beechwood are going to worldnet. There are road closures on the M73 so the diversion could add up to 20 minutes traveling time. 11am kick off on 3G at New King Edward Park, Matthew's Loaning, Lockerbie, DG11 2PD. That postcode is for the car park and DG11 2AH is for the changing rooms. Best to take a note of both. Ideally, we still need one more driver or it will be a tight squeeze with five in each car. The consensus from last weeks post was that most wanted to come home straight after the match so I've not organised any food or refreshments. We are playing on a junior teams 3G pitch so please adhere to their rules. 1. No smoking anywhere within the football compound. 2. No metal stubs allowed (they will check). Moulded studs only. 3.
