  1. Chopper, i'm guessing the penalty incidence must have been in the first half. Overhearing conversations in the loo at half time (as you do!) I heard some Morton fans reckoning they should have had 2 penalties! There was a possible handball incidence I think with James but don't remember any other, apart from their no 9 diving (which quite a few of them did by the way).

I thought the ref was taking his cue from the crowd in the second half, if they shouted at an incidence he gave it. Are referees born with different eyes???

  2. Anybody travelling through from the Stirling/Dunblane area who fancies sharing a lift?

(Jamie, presuming you are going through - how are you getting there? - I can't be bothered going all theback to Perth just to come all the way back down again).

TS - you have a PM.

  3. What a ridiculous and childish post.

Sorry Radford - just my lame-arsed attempt at a bit of humour to illustrate my earlier point about flexibility being the key. McLaren popping up on the right did flumox the PT defence and look what it created.

  4. I trust that some of you are writing letters of complaint to the management given that our second goal at PT was provided by a cross from Our Willie on the RIGHT wing. I guess you will be asking what he was doing going on a diagonal run like when he should have been taking the ball up the left wing. This was not what he was bought for, after all!!

    :lol: 8) :cry::oops::?

  5. Are you saying that Geoff just shook his head because he had a fall out with SaintKev!!

As the saying goes 'Smell the coffee' - when you see other long time fans of the club who consider themselves friends of Geoff beginning to have doubts about his leadership then it is time to worry - it is very similar to the current Tony Blair leadership issue where one time allies are now begging him to go.

Who are these friends TS? I'm not a part of this inner circle that you and Kev seem to be in and would be really interested to know who has really been doubting a man who has kept our club going for all these years. There are many who see stuff like this in print (even only on a forum) and because it is in print believe every word of it. I'm sure you would not be mischief making here TS so please tell us who these friends are.

And why was Kev not too busy celebrating a goal rather than watching another fan? It reads a bit stalkingly creepy to me!:shock:

  6. In the Ins and Outs section of The Sunday Herald there's a nice passage about the one that got away from Dundee United. I quote

Chris Katongo signed a contract - of sorts - then went missing before resurfacing to suggest that socio-economic conditions in Dundee are worse than in his homeland, Zambia.

Accepting all the we hate Dundee pish, I have to say this is not good reading for any Scottish city.

  7. This is getting ridiculous!

We don't pay £50,000 for a left winger then play him on the right! What do you all want him to do? Beat his man then turn back inside to cross off his left foot.

    Bizarre.

    why is it bizarre?

Don't Ronaldo and Giggs/another swap wings for Man U? A lot of sides swap their wider players during a game - even his eminence Sheerinho pops up on the right now and again! flexibility is the key - keeping players in the same position all the time in a game makes it easier for the opposition to defend. Total sexy football is what we want!! 8)

  8. There was something on sky this am about an Iranian chap who owns Corinthians (where these two are from). There was talk of him perhaps getting some involvement with West Ham. Perhaps it is as part of the deal.

Regardless of that, I'm sure the deal will have been set up so that Corinthians will gain from a sell-on clause.
