  1. Aye, could be, roads are treacherous though, this snow just packs into ice, perfect for skiing but nothing else :)

Just stuck a foot out the door, snow is crispy compaired to yesterday. Def colder today. PS3 day I think!! :D

  2. Wife just phoned, she walked to work. Cars abandoned on Oakbank Crescent, Glasgow Road is just tracks, No7 bus was apparently only going to Ice Rink roundabout then back into town!

A9 south shut at Cairney Braes apparently.

  3. Totally agree.... walked the kids to Tesco this morning to get shopping took a sledge (big weekly shop) and we pulled it home on the sleigh.. the kids loved. it

Funny you should mention that, we were talking about that with a neighbour earlier!

Just phoned the council, they've had no idications yet about schools for tomorrow. Their dedicated line - 0845 3011100 and website will be updated from 7am tomorrow morning.

  4. Is falling??

Roads are f***ed round here, cars abandoned, bus slid into a car, ambulance stuck up Campsie Road earlier apparently!!

    If you need shopping...........WALK!!

On the plus side, the kids are having a ball

  5. Sky sports news.........Both federations claim they were not told the real reason behind the strike as the Polish and Portugese.

Can that shameful lot in charge of Scottish football not tell the truth to anyone? FFS they have to tell porkies to get help!!

The whole lot should be fired and the whole of backroom SFA rebuilt with people who might be able to rebuild any reputation Scottish football has left?!

  6. Aye, they scabby Accies coming to town, sure you can keep calm with Mensing on the park and the two wee Portugese flower twins????

That's a good pont! oh, and that wee chunt Imrie!! Maybe I won't be allowed!

Didn't realise Ghostie affected you that much:laugh:

Ghostie? Nah, he's too far away in the stand for that!

  7. Cheers TS and Kevin, I'm hoping the 3 weeks as well  I'm not the most patient of people and don't fancy climbing the walls!

Kevin - I'm hoping to not have to listen from here, next home game not til next month so hopefully the missus will let me go  Will just have to stay calm and reign in the shouty/screamy lunatic that appears

  8. Alright troops, not been for the last couple of weeks due to my dad not being too good then kids stuff last week.

However, I ended up in PRI on Tuesday with chest pains. Kept in til yesterday afternoon while they did tests, scans & x-rays. Turns out I've got viral pericarditis, so half a pharmacy for the next wee while and rest.

Recovery could be anything between 3 weeks & 3 months, depends how it goes.

Anyhow, that's the FFIT done for. I might make it to the next group in the new year, but for those I've met and trained with, it's been a blast! Best of luck to you all for the next few weeks. Have a press up or two for me!
