Might be too late for this cup final, maybe have to save it for the next one(!!), but just a suggestion:

Over 100 supporters buses going, Each bus picks a saints player of the past, a legend or cult figure.
Someone with contacts asks the ticket office to keep a block of 100 seats together for the north stand. The 'saints legends' section
Supporters on each bus chip in and buy one ticket for their player in that section.
So instead of bus 1, bus 2 etc, we have the john brogan Barossa bus, the auchterarder Alex totten bus, the Sam Sam super Sam Stanley shuttle, the willie coburn coach from Crieff, the willie waters wolfhill wagon etc etc

I know most ex players can afford it, and they'd still have to make their own way there etc, but it would just be a gesture from our support on such a big day.

    And we baggsy stevie maskrey!!

    lyrics

    It's just another normal day,
    Another girlfriend gone astray.
She wanted more, she slammed the door
And threw my Saints scarf on the floor.
And she said, ''Will you, oh, will you please
    Sort out your priorities?''
I agreed.. so I bought a season ticket.

I'm afraid that's just the story of my life. I guess I'm addicted.
I'll follow the Saints through the glory and the strife. Our love is unrestricted.

I'll sing it loud and true, this is my song for you,
    The only girl I serenade.
For you'll be my friend until the bitter end,
Perth St. Johnstone, my fair maid.

She plays a game of hide and seek,
I only see her once a week.
Her pretty face, her natural grace,
Puts others firmly in their place.

I am obsessed. I will follow you,
    From Muirton to Timbuktu.
At McDiarmid, I'll back the boys in blue.

I hear she was born in 1884. Her life is never-ending.
She had beauty and now she possesses even more,
    Without overspending.

I'll sing it loud and true, this is my song for you,
    The only girl I serenade.
For you'll be my friend until the bitter end,
Perth St. Johnstone, my fair maid.

Now we stand on the precipice
Of success. We're not used to this.
We will suffer with you until we die.
Will we go down in history?
    For now, it's a mystery
But we'll always keep that blue flag flying high.

Through the rise and fall, we'll all stay standing tall,
And our hope will never fade.
I dream we'll go up to lift the Scottish Cup,
Perth St. Johnstone, my fair maid.

It's very interesting seeing the different comments on the Facebook about it not being a party cup final song etc. Perhaps shows the different priorities for people on the day .

For me I im glad its more than just a throw away cup final song and think this is a song that will endure as it's a song that speaks to the people with who saints have always been a constant in their life's the one thing that will never leave us. One thing that helps us forget troubles for a short while.

For many this will be the biggest party of our lives and there will be a time for the big party numbers but as touched on before I fully expect there will be moments of sadness too tinged with a great pride.

This song captures a lot of that for me. Thank you
