Yip, Edmonton is to Alberta what Dundee is to Scotland - A bloody cold hell hole. In the south we get the warm winds from the rockies (chinooks) but we still hit -55°C last January. You can go for weeks and the temp never gets above -10° but its worth it for the cracking blue sky summers where you get no rain for weeks on end and its well over 30°.

Very true, thats 3 of us who kept the promise and I can add that it was very cold outside and standing there in my shorts with the snow not too far away from my knees was bloody cold.

Got the White home top and the yellow away top and both are still in fantastic condition, wear them when I am playing 5's over here so they get washed nearly every week. The training top and the rain jacket have also survived very well. I understand frustrations, replica's will always come under scrutiny, but in my opinion the worst was Zara's atempt. Poor badges, the logos peeled off, mine tore after several washes.

Ahhh the days of wee Moorie scoring 3 in the cup at McD, one with each foot and the 3rd with his head was it not?

The St Johnstoun Tavern and the Scabby Bush are the same pub only thing different is the revamped interior and the layout. The building itself is the same. The old well from the Saints Tavern still exists under the current floor, and before the revamp the pub got in the late 90's where they put that stupid raised section at the front, it was only covered by a few sheets of plywood. Out the back of the pub is still identical to the old days before the center was built, the windows to the kitchen etc is still there. Spent many a happy night working behind the bar there!

We got a photo of taystreet at night from the tourist information in the city mills. Its done with a panoramic lense so you get quite an impressive picture! THey have heaps of stuff in there and all at a reasonable price!
