  1. Yeah, but in this current economic climate.........
  2. Could do with some grilled chicken on there
  3. As he points out on the OS we finished with three strikers on the pitch. We exercised a little caution to ease into the game. Nothing wrong with that considering United Scored 7 goals against us last season and it could of been worse. We simply didnt have a fit front pairing that was going to score 3/4 goals. Approach Spot on.
  4. Bad News and Loss. I still feel that he would always be more effective coming off the bench.

    moaning

I would like to moan about the state of the pitch. What has been going on there? Have we had bad weather that has made it that bad? I think there must be a problem somewhere
  6. I am sure Duberry joined us under similar cirumstances. Was he not with Wycome still in the Feb?
  7. I pushed myself through the pain barrier on Saturday too.......what a Saintee!
  8. Yeah but the big difference is our ratio of ST Holders to paying customers is pretty high. We were expecting a couple of games in the cup. Brechin will have sold their ST's as a package at the beginning of the season and wouldnt have made provision for anything other than a round 3 exit. Every game has brought them a nice wee bonus, and this one will net them as much as any of the Glasgow Giants one would suspect I am pretty sure the chairman is not going to view it as lost revenue Imagine the mighty St Johnstone helping sustain a wee club for a few years
  9. No they wont as they wont of budgeted for being in the QF of the cup.... You will prbably find they have 200+ Season ticket holders as well
  10. Saints Fans wont shout BEAST at Jody though..... No, you know she said no, David Goodwillie, you know she said no Ill just boo him for being a cheating, diving, barsteward. That isnt just idle gossip!
  11. No, I believe segregation is the issue. The Brechin Sale is happening before ours. Probably for 2 reasons. 1. To guage Demand of the home fans 2. If both tickets went on sale at same time, you might get Saints Fans taking the tickets when ours sold out. I think we will get more tickets when we need them.
  12. It sure does put the value of them up after my moaning this week!! Our +1's are all gone too...... Its going to be really tight for tickets.
  13. and inject some fun back into it while they are at it. You did a sterling job today, but I bet you felt pig sick when it started to go a bit pear shaped? All the clubs need to look at stewarding and understand that fans just dont get any enjoyment from it no matter how much effort they put in. Initiatives like today are tailor made to pass the 'bug' back to a lapsed fan.
  14. We ended up needing extra tickets for Accies. Did we not get 4k + in the end? The buses will always be a good indicator of how we will travel, but as Brechin is a fairly short hop a lot will go by car too.. There seems to be a real excitement about this 'glamour tie'...... If Demand does outweigh supply, I am sure the pubs in Brechin will do a roaring trade that day....
  15. The assumption is that everyone will get a ticket. I dont think it is going to be that simple. Mind you, I think that we didnt have much more than 1000 there today
  16. I thought that was actually the intention today. We outplayed them in the first half last time up there, the butcher changed things at Halftime and we could cope. Too much thinking, just play what worked previously and get on with it IMO.
  17. It really affected us. I have often been one to have a go at him when he doesnt put the shift in but the last few games he has really stepped up to the plate with May's inclusion. Our play resulted in this one dimensional, predictable and high ball. bad day, time to move on.
  18. Muzz by a country mile. Battled for every ball (and won most of them!!)
  19. The parent and child section is actually F. It will be the full price ticket that is officially E
  20. He'll no be getting offered anywhere near what an established SPL Club can pay. That will be why he's leaving. If you know your club as well as you make out even the mighty Dundee are going to have to watch their spending.........as Fizzy Pop League Member I think you will find you are paying much less next season!!!!
