  1. Thanks gertiesaint, I will definitley keep you updated as we go.
  2. So, I've done the research and we leave Sheffield this weekend ! It's easier to take your kids out of school for a year than it is a day We're heading round the world going to 19 countries over the next year. I'll hopefully be logging in at points to catch up on the Sainties, to hear how well they're doing Bye
  3. Absolutely no doubt in my mind. Complete and utter tosser.
  4. Lark, I'm not going to make it up with the sofa and chair I'm afraid. Let me know if you can work something else out, otherwise I will donate it to charity in Sheffield. If I wasn't going away for a year, I would have been able to work something out, but up against the clock at the mo getting everything done before we go.
  5. Am and always have been a girlie, and I can attest having met Dr Jones that he is indeed a man (all 19 stone of him !!!) (that's definately a joke Dr Jones before you come to Sheffield to lynch me !) It's funny the assumptions people sometimes make !
  6. Cheers for the offer TS, I have my own personal helper outer on the case now. Thanks Dr Jones
  7. Lark, I might drive up yet this week to empty my Perth flat, if i do it should fit in the back of my car. Let me know if your interested.
  8. I have the perfect thing for you Lark, just one problem it's sat in Sheffield Neutral beige fabric colour. good condition. If you can figure how to get them from Sheffield to Perth, they're yours for nought. My sofa's in my Perth flat are ready for the bin, so wouldn't even offer you those.
  9. Cheers John, but need it doing by Thursday this week. Have a great trip to NI.
  10. Thanks Ziggy, that'll still be cheaper than a skip, so I'll give them a call Mon.
  11. The furniture is really just ready to be binned to be honest. The sofas were a hand down to me 14 years ago when I bought the flat. Need I say more !! I'll check with the council on Monday and see if they collect, otherwise I'll order a skip.
  12. Cheers matey. I'll post a link to our blog just as soon as I set it up. That's the Perth flat rented, just have to rent Sheffield house, pack up, sell the 2 cars, hand my business over, get my dog to Scotland and then we're ready to go
  13. Have got couple of sofas and a bed to ditch. whats the deal in Perth, can I skip these, phone the council or take to the tip ?
  14. Needing a van and a man again this time to empty my flat !!! Can't remember the forumer who had a van and man, and who kinda helped last time, in that I had the man but not the van ! Get in touch if your available next wednesday / thurs Dr Christmas where are you ???
  15. cheers mainstand, mine is in best location and is a BIG 1 bed. Avey at A&s already has viewings booked and only went on their website this morning. so all looking positive.
  16. It's all right Andy, at least you didn't call me a 'scabby posh knob' !
  17. Nope Harry, a few viewings, it was £10k less than valuation, but no takers. We head off on our Round The World trip in 5 weeks, so better to get it rented than sat empty for the year. It's on with A&S properties in County Place if anyone interested. They said they could get £400 a month for it, so we will soon find out if Andy is right or not
  18. Cheers for that Fair City, I would agree I'm posh but would dispute the scabby and knob bit. I take it you don't want to rent it then
  19. large 1 bed flat for rent overlooking South Inch (Marshall Place end) . Minimum 1 year let. Have given up trying to sell it. It's top floor so should be dry . Looking for about £390 a month. Unfurnished, with cooker and fridge freezer in kitchen.
  20. Happy Birthday Andy. Hope you have a great night !
  21. I was, did you not see me ?!!! The 'D' was under my armpit though so it looked like 'BOOOOBS MUST STAY'
  22. I think people are being too quick to judge John Higgins. Having met him several times, I find these accusations very hard to believe. The News of the World are scum, and to print the story on the day of the World snooker Final was really unfair to Dott and Robertson, although, of course, being a tabloid it gave them maximum exposure. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/media/press/nick--harris-what-the-news-of-the-world-did-not-say-1960860.html There are 2 sides to every story and as previously stated John is innocent until proven otherwise.
  23. McInnes is still in the running for PFA Scotland Manager of the Year. Short listed alongside Walter Smith and Derek Adams. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/football/spl/rangers/2010/04/27/walter-smith-derek-mcinnes-derek-adams-in-running-for-pfa-scotland-manager-of-the-year-86908-22216333/
