Scoring for which team???
-
Miller, Boyd and Iwelumo up front for next game then!
-
But look at Rooneys assists record! Scotland cant afford a player who will score 1 or 2 out of 15 chances...we need one that will score with the one opportunity he may get.
Anyway, I was hoping to discuss more Iwelumo than Boyd, but I guess it serves me right for throwing the Boyd comment in in such a manner. I just think Iwe offers more than Boyd
-
What is more worrying....when you are the only guy in a toilet and there are 5 or 6 urinals....is it when somebody comes in and uses the urinal directly next to you, or when they come in and use a cubical, when clearly just peeing?
Or am I looking too deeply into this?

I think its wildly harsh to call Kris Boyd a "useless fecker" based on the Liechtenstein game alone. He was far from the worst on display, and everyone knows what his game is about. If you want your natural poacher/goalscorer to score, you have to put the ball in dangerous areas which we abjectly failed to do.
However, Iwelumo must be in with a big shout of playing the next couple of games if he continues in his current form.
Granted, slightly harsh, but based on more than just the Liechtenstein game. When has Boyd ever really produced in a big game, for club or country.
But, we digress.....
-
I am the only person who is starting to forgive Iwelumo for 'that miss' and after watching him at the weekend would like to see him pull on a Scotland strip again...ahead of that useless fecker Boyd?

well , did anyone take the chance to go down to the open day and complain to the management , you had the chance yesterday to vent your frustrations directly or is it just so much easier to do it behind the safety of your computer.
Yesterday was not the arena to do that. It was a day for kids to enjoy, not for red faced ranting adults.
Everytime someone wants to participate in a discussion, you cannot say "well, speak to the manager or players". How often do you complain about the service in Tesco's or something....do you automatically go home and write to the management? No, you have a moan to your mates then go back for your groceries the next weekend as normal
-
Yesterday was a poor team preformance. We played badly as a unit.
When we play well in games like we did last season was it cause certain players played well or cause the team played well ??
Why when we play badly do individuals get stick.
If you want too boo and shout abuse then why bother going to the next game. No one forces you to go. Vote with your feet.
Sometimes players are given jobs to do by the manager during certain games, marking a player, tracking back that may make them play differantly to what we want and what we expect. If in the managers eyes he has done this task then why should we abuse him.
When did you ever be given abuse in your job and it inspired you to do better.
Support your team, win lose or draw. If you want t moan ? Stay at home and shout at the telly.
As paying supporters, everybody is entitled to do as they please at any game. It is not up to the likes of you to dictate to others. I have no doubt in other posts that you will have critised people for commenting when not at a game, and now you are telling people, just because they are not happy with a performance, to not turn up! Ridiculous...after a run of say three bad games, we would be down to a home crowd of about 1000.
Would you rather have 1000 apathetic people there, or 4-5 thousand passionate fans, who will cheer and celebrate just as loudly as they complain?
I have a lovely wife, 2 beautiful kids, a decent job, a nice house and a car that goes (as well as being strikingly handsome)....maybe I like the opportunity to moan about something now and then.
Too many blind hero worshippers on here...as much as I love Saints (having followed them for 35 years) and do get affected by their performances for longer than the 90mins, football is entertainment and paying your admission entitles you to behave and comment as you wish (within reason of course).
I was disgusted with the performance on Saturday and personally cursed some of the players loudly (particularly Parkin) during the game. However, I will be back and truly hope that Parkin proves me wrong and scores a hat-trick next week. That would make no-one happier than me.
That is, if by following your line of thought, I should be allowed back into McDermaid following my audacity to demonstrate any form of disgruntlement with the players and their falling below a level of performance that should be expected of somebody in their place of employment.
Better get back to work......

There were people shouting at Chris Millar yesterday calling him "a useless prick" and other such flattering terms.
Yesterday was chronic but I refuse to accept in any way how that will help anybody play any better.
Really unfair, the wee man usually puts in a good shift. At times when he got the ball on Saturday, he had nowhere to go and nobody to pass to as an outlet. That's where he missed Jody
-
From the BBC highlights it looks like Davidson did more dithering and probably put him off!
Agreed, Muzz didn't help out the young lad at all there
-
Facing the Jambos and Cabbage at work today is bringing back the pain of Saturday. Only saviour is that they are not happy with their teams performances either!!
-
good call. i guess since he's a free agent we could make a move for him , always feared him whenever he was running at our defense tho i guess he doesnt know what he's doing half the time
Either does Taylor, without the speed
-
when you are a Dundee fan?
-
Felt like I was watching Grainger v Motherwell at times yesterday. Probably the Saints player who saw most of the ball yesterday, and I cant remember being as exasperated with him as with all the others!!
-
Mrs ghost tells me it's actually paltry:laugh:
I thought size didn't matter!!!
-
So why start a we are doomed thread and then come back to gloat because we lost today?
It wasn't a we are doomed thread, and I aint gloating. I was just interested in what the effect on these games would be the fact that we were bottom...extra pressure and all.
You have been on here longer though so I bow to your superiority
-
WTF does that mean? He's still playing out of position, even if the ball is a triangle.
It means that that is no friggin excuse...he played right wing before and was pish then too
-
Craig, Moon, Morris, Hardie.
Wouldn't you love to see that midfield at some point soon...
Hell yeah, although I still like wee Chris
-
Wonder how long the Duberry love affair will last?
He looked well unhappy at the end today
-
Lot of Taylor criticism here. Remember he's a right winger playing left midfield. Parkin however is indeed a carthorse.
The pitch is still a rectangle and the ball still round
