I totally agree that theres no point in taking them for the remainder season if we were just goning to finish mid-table and they are going to contribute nothing long term. But its only ten points and only the start of December -Surely its a wee bit early to bit writing off our chances of catching them up? I say, if Coyle reckons they can do a wee turn and help us catch up some then we should take them. Or are St Midden really that good that we can't catch them? (bare in mind because of where I am I haven't seen them this season )

Ok -Heres an idea, lets get rid of everybody in the team thats not Scottish or doesn't have a scottish doesn't have scottish name! Maybe we could sign all of the players from one of the local Junior teams like Kinnoull (we'd have to check their place of birth in their passports of course) or maybe do a deal with one of the BB teams, just to make sure? So by your logic, if a player expresses an interest to play for saints that automatically makes them shite, because otherwise the "big teams" would have signed them????? So we can't sign anybody but terrible players? Look the fact of the matter is that saints are going to benefit because the Polish winter break is (understandably) massive and these guys want football. We have the opportunity of taking two players on loan who in other circumstances would be impossible to sign and it looks like their football is of a high standard. I say if they are better than what we have then Coyle should go for it. Oh and thanks for the update guys, its interesting to hear all this. Although, I can read match reports etc its nice to hear honest opinion. Ps nice to see that some people still have some manners back home

Can't get a game in there own country????????????? What are you talking? There 19 and 20 years old!!! Oh and the likes of Legia Warsaw and Wisla Krakow are quality sides and could eat most of the sides in Scotland for breakfast. Anyway, for me, I couldn't give a monkeys whether a saints player comes from Methven or Minsk. We have had some quality imports in the past -Remember Dino??????? Hello Sainties! I suppose I'd better introduce myself as this is my first post on the site. I'm a Perth boy and a big Saints fan, currently exiled in the town of Lublin near the Polish/Ukrainian border. I'm an English teacher and I've been living out here for well over a year. I spend my days converting my students and showing them they ways of righteousness! I've got 130 students in total and ALL of them are now saints fans and I regularly use the back page of the PA for reading exercises! But keep that quiet cause don't want to get the jail for copyright infringement Anyway, I'm posting because I was speaking to some of my buddies who are big Legia fans in Warsaw about the two boys Marcin Smolinski and Dariusz Zjawinski and the news is good. Both were rated highly by my mates and the Legia side this year is a good one -Zjawinski in particular is on the verge of their first team, which is no mean feat. Doesn't sound like this hat trick in the closed door game was a fluke either. Anyhow, I'm really missing the games and I just want to know what the biggest change in the football has been since Coyle came in and also who's been standout this season? Any kind of update would be fantastic as I'm getting really homesick for saints!
