I believe it is in the interests of all parties: SLF, clubs and fans to stage this match at a neutral stadium not exceeding a 25,000 person capacity.

Safety, journey times, atmosphere, costs and revenues to SFL and club would benefit.

You will have noticed in recent seasons it has shown that crowd numbers for live televised semi-finals in this competition are very low when played at the National Stadium.

As a supporter of one of the semi-final participants (St. Johnstone FC), I would like to register these concerns with you.

The problem is, that in the past, most things have been tried during the poorer periods - now is the chance to really go for it with the feel good factor about as high as it can get.

Perosnally I am a champion of backing reduced entry, although, in terms of saints,. the figures will speak. I belive the fans are quite young as it is, so with free in, it may cost the club too much?

I reckon the way ahead for all things is a pay as you go, coupon style season ticket, or a members club (I can never make matches, but would gladly be a paid up member of something to ST Js to show support - have toyed with the idea of buying a season ticket and not using it, just be that said member).
