Some great comments on here about Stevie May, I like that, that's a credit you Saints fans, but I'll be honest, I don't know that much about Scottish players and the way you all talk about this lad has me excited and I can't wait to see him play personally. A few questions..how long has he been playing in St Johnstones first team? Has anyone in England monitored his progress apart from Rovrum? I know they wanted him last year, just surprises me that a player with supposedly such talent didn't get spotted before. He will absolutely love Hillsboro' we'll make him feel welcome.

Not sure why you think we borrowed money to fund wages, it's simply not true. Ever since Milan took us over we've progressed, he might not be spashing out like certain other owners but hey ho that's what got us in the mess in the first place. Takeovers still ongoing, it's not dead, but we don't have to rely on it either if it does, Milans not a mug he knows what he's doing. Finally Azerbijan, it might not be a country you like but look around you, see where all the rich owners of big clubs seem to be coming from, it's certainly not western Europe. Slight problem with this....Agard doesn't want to re sign for you lot otherwise he would've done by now, he's holding out for a club to come knocking. Now you really have to ask the question as to why a player who won promotion and scored all of them goals would want to leave? manager?

Fans love him at Toytown, maybe they are made for each other. We were linked with him but thankfully we turned our attentions elsewhere, I think the fact that the fans wasn't keen had some sway.

This post just sums Rovrum fans up. Two seasons ago you were in the bottom league and looking like going out of it, you've done well having a double promotion but like many many other Toytowners you lot suffer from small man syndrome, even poking fun last season at Sheff Utd saying they were 'past it' just because of your success, you were like it before under Ronnie Moore and here you are again, but when you do drop back down the League you'll slither away into your little holes and play darts again. We've been shite for 15 years now, but 95% of that time we've been above you lot in the league go figure......

No there was never a farm here before, there was a Sheff Utd fan that went to great lenghts to put this out in the media though, before Hillborough was built the area was grassland. How sad must a fan be to lie about Hillsborough being bult on a farm.

Lets hope Stevie May likes Hillsborough.

Some clarity on the name Pigs/ Piggies. Wednesday called it United (Sheffield) years ago, it was originally the Bacon Backs because on the colours of their shirts, in return the Pigs (you got it, Sheff U) started to call it back to us - rather weird but that's what they do. So where do little old Rovrum fit in to all of this? well because they are the little ones left outside of the City they think it's fair that they gatecrash the City rivalry by calling it to us as well. We let them do this because they are a tiny club and most folk from rovrum actually pop down to Hillsboro' to watch football. Sorry Saints, just needed to clear that one up.

Hey, calm down fella, don't be so rude on this fantastic Saints forum (like Owlstalk I may add). Just accept it, you messed about for 9 months trying to get him on the cheap, whilst we've just met the Saints asking price.

^^^^^ This. Well said Kyle, sorry but these Rovrum (or toytown) fan just seem to be a little bitter because we have stepped in and tabled a bid. I hope he does come here because he seems like a natural goal scorer and someone that the fans will love here at Hillsboro'. Hope St Johnstone get a decent replacement and good luck tonight.
