  1. http://www.perthstjohnstonefc.co.uk/team-coachingstaff.php On official site, confirms Kerso on board. Would be nice to see a quote re previous physio, thanking him for services given, OR was this handled badly and the club would rather he did not comment ???
  2. Strange one this, the Official announcement removed from Queens site and also any other comments attributed to it. Could it be that is because it is not all signed and sealed ? Could not see any mention on St Johnstone's Official Site either ???
  3. Glad you think so !!! this is one supporter who will definitely not be attending, if I did it would add up to over £100 fuel, probably over 18hours travelling, and probably need to take time off work never mind food and drinks. Their costs what £10 from an adult ticket price and goodwill ? My costs approximately £130 and 18 hours of my time plus time taken off work. Not difficult to see how crowds are dwindling. As for the article and given reasons, they kind of fall flat for me when they tell us of the 1500m of new drainage then use the excuse of 30 year high rainfall cumulatively of 400mm that the New Drainage could not cope with. They obviously knew of the rising water table and that their new drainage was not coping, as they had ground staff working on the pitch. Then miraculously in 2 hours all efforts fail and they didn't see it coming !!!! Stinks of hoping for the best and F*CK the travelling Fans. Here's an offer for Kenny Cameron, ICT Chairman. You cover my expenses for the first debacle and I will think about coming to the rescheduled game, chance of that happening ? Less than the chance of Dunfermline playing SPL Football next season. Before anyone asks, yes I am in the process of giving the Clubs my views.
  4. Got back to Dumfries at 5PM, left this morning at 7;15AM. Stopped at Perth for breakfast left at 9;15AM, the roads were horendous at points and then heard at 11;30AM game OFF, just 30 miles from Inverness. Eventually got turned and headed back to Perth for something to eat at about the same time as team bus. The team went out to train I grabbed a bite in Tesco. Good points, good chinwag with my Daughter and Son-in-law, Bad points, 365 miles for feck all, horrible driving conditions at times, No Game to make up for it, about £55 for fuel, I am sure there is more including 10 hours travelling for no game. Is it really acceptable to give 2 hours notice in winter given by that time most fans will have already left and be more than halfway to the game, whether by car, train or bus ? This is the tipping point for me with Scottish Football, SFA, SPL, SFL, Clubs, Police, Referees and whoever else just don't seem to give a stuff about the Fans and they wonder why supporters numbers through the gates are plummetting !!!!! Guess I sound like a Grumpy Old Man, and I am, today was my 52nd birthday, one I will remember for all the wrong reasons. Now what else could I spend my time and money on in these times of finacial austerity ????????? Scottish Football certainly won't be giving a stuff about losing my revenue !!!
  5. Negativism or realism, down to one's perception. It could be worse, imagine following The Pars or The Hibees!!! At least the points gathered by the McInnes era should guarantee SPL survival, so there is a positive for you
  6. Have to love the optimism on here. Come February 1st this backs against the wall performance could be regular fare if the transfer comings and goings rumours come true. Happy to keep it down to 2-0 against the Old Firm and then only introducing somebody that wanted to go forward or be creative with 10 minutes to go. Liam Craig and Marcus Haber the only credible forward threat come February, is hardly going to stem the tide of falling crowds. Steve Lomas does not seem keen to use a Plan "B" or even "C" if he has one, he is beginning to make Derek McInnes seem an attack minded zealot. Note to players; slightly old fashioned coaching and playing mantra from Bill Shankly, Control, Pass and Move.
  7. Given he is being used so little, will Wullie Gibson's loan be allowed to run out or be extended ?
  8. I seldom post and am a relative new forum member, but a 270 mile round trip to watch that abysmal performance requires a judgement. 1 If the team were playing to the manager's tactics then "He" not they must take the lion's share of the blame. 2 To risk a player carrying an obvious injury to me is clutching at straws, obviously no plan "B" the manager was confident in. 3 A competent keeper, solid defence and the leagues up and coming strike partnership held back by Jody and The Clones in a see who can be most negative show complemented by an enthusiastic, athletic, attack-minded midfielder with a dubious first touch. 4 Just looks like the interim management team hope playing the same boys time and again will get them through and they are unable to think for themselves. Perhaps they think this loyalty, to them, will limp them into the job. 5 Think Gibson and Haber must hope for injuries to see any significant game time before a Manager is appointed, and if Alec, keep well wrapped up during the winter whilst watching from the bench. This is not the type of football to keep me coming back, and in these uncertain financial times decisions need to be made, by The Club and also supporters.
  9. Just announced on Sky Sports news by Georgie till 2014 taking the Doc.
