  1. Then get one of the weans nappies on before you make a mess !
  2. Can't we just get back to churning out the same old drivel about St Johnstone winning the league next season , like you have been for the last 4 years , it's much funnier !
  3. When I stoop to posting an Avatar to prove that I am capable of producing offspring , then you can point and laugh ! :-)
  4. I'll be dignified in defeat , something which seems beyond some of the guys on here despite your victory. Well done and good luck , although MacPherson should be bagged for his team selection alone ! :-(
  5. Potter is definitely out , Haining trained today and will be back after missing Saturday ! I would imagine that Maxi will partner Haining in a 4-4-2 allowing Van Zanten (who will be a team mate of Jason Scotland next season)to move into right mid where we sorely missed him in the first game ! Looking forward to this match , and although I expect to win , it could easily blow up in our faces !
  6. You should be wishing us buds all the best ! Thistle have a much better record v the Mirren than they do v the Fakes ! :-)
  7. You said that Corcoran was considering leaving Love St during the early part of our promotion season because he wasn't getting a game. You also said that it came from his father ! How come you have such a selective memory ?
  8. Ah , so it's you who was the go-between when we were in the 1st and Radford was posting drivel about Corcoran leaving Love St , and he knew cos "his dad said so "? Marc's father was spot-on that time as well ! :-)
  9. :-) laughable post of the week award !
  10. Yes , a typical winger's challenge , but you got a free kick for it anyway so I can't see what anyone has to moan about !
  11. Yes , "a tackle" is actually a poor description of it ! My 3 year old son would probably have made a better attempt at staying on his feet than Jackson did !
  12. By that well known thug Mark Corcoran ? :-) Who everyone knows couldn't tackle a fish supper !
  13. You'll be able to purchase your ticket on the night at a kiosk at the away end , every game at Love St is all ticket , including games this season v East Fife and Dumbarton !
  14. It's still a very interesting tie , and with no tv and the likelihood that it will be the last ever Scottish cup tie at Love St , there will probably be a decent crowd again. Add the fact that by next tuesday St Johnstone could be a lot closer to the top of the league as Accies or Dundee or both will drop points by then, and that St Mirren's season is over except for this tournament. By the time the game takes place both clubs priorities may have changed from the first game !
  15. St Mirren 3 St Johnstone 1 Dargo Sky have the rights to a replay so if Aberdeen v Celtic produces a result either way today then the All -Saints game will be televised ! No tv - 5,220 tv - 3,330
  16. :-) So when we got a 1-1 draw at Parkhead in December it showed that we are not far off Barcelona ? League positions are earned over a season , and in 2006 we finished 10 points above you despite only beating you once , that's why we're an SPL club and St Johnstone aren't ! A team with Alan McManus in it would never succeed in the SPL anyway !
  17. The floating header off the line was never going to beat the defender , and Smiths diving block was from a weak James header. MacPherson said after the game that Smith hardly had a save to make despite St Johnstone's larger share of the possession and that is pretty much spot on ! I already admitted we got out of jail as we were dreadful , particularly in the first half , but on clear cut chances created a draw was a fair result !
  18. :-) That was our 'get out of jail free' card today. Having said that it took a PK to breach our defence , and St Johnstone never really looked like scoring again. I'll take the replay gladly in the hope that we are more positive next time !
  19. Calm down guys and stop the bait-taking and/or name calling! :-) My main concern is the weather , tipping it down here and only 30 mins till I set off. How's it looking up there ?
  20. This game has all the makings of a classic cup-tie and is not an easy one to predict. I'm pretty sure we will not set out to be negative and I would expect Radford's St Mirren line-up to be spot-on. St Johnstone's home record is excellent but in Andy Dorman we have the potential match-winner , if his late runs into the box aren't picked up he WILL score. I'll forecast a 2-1 victory for us but wouldn't be surprised to lose by the same score !
  21. Word down here is that Deuchar , Innes and Skelton are all joining Morton on emergency loans !
  22. Live TV and home seasons not valid ! ;-)

    Fake Saints

Don't worry , it's only a one-off , the first Scottish Cup meeting between the clubs in over 100 years and we're unlikely to see you fakes in the SPL anytime soon , so a couple hours of you being careful should suffice ! :-)

    Fake Saints

You mean the same way that you think that St Johnstone are heading for the semis? It's a natural reaction from our supporters after defeating a team on an unbeaten run , and on their own ground too. FWIW , I'm really looking forward to this one , St Johnstone are very good at home and we are a far better side than the one that won the league in 2006 !
