  1. Nearly agree with all you say apart from the bit in bold, i thought some of the passing last night was a joke from St Js. If Lomas sets his team up like that on Sunday then there will be no European venture for the Saints next season, Sheridan was a waste of a jersey up there on his own, the guy was woeful, just looked like he didn't care, when he lost the ball(which was a lot) he didn't even bother to try and win it back, just stood there expecting someone else to win the ball for him. But in saying that i would stick with him for the trip to the Asbestos Death Trap Arena on Sunday but stick Riordan upfront with him, this is the must win game for you's and goals are needed to win it.
  2. I would think this as well, celtc will certainly play a weakened side tomorrow, youngsters and fringe players given a run out in the game, they will still be tough opposition but get the first goal and you have a chance of getting something from this game, i have said it before but it seems a good time to play the winners of an old firm game a few days after they have played. 4-5-1 must be the formation to go for the St Js against celtc tomorrow night, do use have any injuries and is Sheridan back fit for the game.
  3. He is a very nice guy away from football does a lot for charity and helping others, but you never read that stuff in the papers eh, yeah when its football he is a snarling horrible person and he should have a word with himself about the way he behaves at football games, but get him away from football and he will chat away with you as long as its not about celtc Rankers crap.
  4. What unrest is that. You really are a bit of a trumpet aren't you, erm tell me what Sandaza was found guilty of at the weekend and Morris in past time, and then tell me what trouble Riordan has been in that has found him guilty of anything. If your going to celtc park on Thursday let me know and wee can have a chat at the game okay.
  5. Sheridan pulled out the night before due to illness, that is what i heard, it was meant to be Sheridan upfront, as i said a 4-5-1 with Riordan sitting in the whole, i think the plan was for the man upfront to hold the ball up when it was lumped up to him(Haber), but he seemed to flick the ball on most of the time with no one supporting him due to this. Thought Riordan done okay, always looking to pass the quick ball forward, on a few occasions he played great balls through but ST J players just not reading it and to slow to react(Marbella Syndrome Maybe), watching it from the top tier it looked like him and Morris were the only two players trying to keep the ball on the ground and look for a pass to a St J player, 90 minutes under his belt and getting more sharpness, only played two games and has come very close to opening his account for use in both games. Think it is always good to play your next game against the winners of an old firm game, it will take a lot out of them and there is the chance that celtc may play a weakened team on Thursday night, good we chance to take something from this game as there will be no pressure on Saints to win this game, hopefully Sheridan back in as him and Riordan have played together at celtc and may gel that quicker.
  6. Sheridan i heard pulled out of squad due to illness. Don't think it was a penalty and there was a foul on Morris for the other goal but he should have just cleared the ball away, ref and mainstand linesman had a nightmare of a game, but Well still deserved the win, surprised Maybury and McKay didn't start the game for you's today. Got to look forward now and concentrate on the next game, and yes i know its celtc at darkheid, got to stay positive folks.
  7. Yeah i will be there DCJ. Sheridan upfront on his own with Riordan just behind him. 4-5-1 or 4-4-1-1
  8. Hibs have been looking at this guy all season, Fenlon has watched him several times playing for Falkirk and i would think he is high on his list of players wanted at Hibs in the summer.
  9. Not to sure about that, Hibs were out-bidded by you's over Sheridan, seemingly St Js offered him a better wage than Hibs could at the time, Hibs are not big spenders now if they ever were that is, if use were to get in to Europe next season then Hayes would be mad not to come here for that alone. Hibs are not even sure to be playing in the SPL next season. If English clubs start sniffing about him as well then that would be a better choice for him obviously for the money you get down there.
  10. I agree with you that its a rip off, twice Hibs have travelled to Fir Park this season and they were charged £10 adults £5 concessions on both occasions. What stand are you's situated in, behind the goals or do you get put up in there mainstand. And get yourself to the game and support your team, you can get me and my playmates the pies at half time ok.
  11. Don't think you are wrong, he is fit enough to do 90 minutes now, he is up to full fitness and think he will start the game on Saturday, hopefully anyway, as i have said he has a good goal scoring record against Motherwell, but it will be a tough game for both teams but i think Saint Js may sneak the win, don't know but think Well are starting to feel the pressure up there in the league and not performing as good as they were earlier in the season.
  12. Obviously i have not seen very much of Haber so really can't comment on him, but i can only see Riordan moving up to partner Sheridan, gives your front two a good bit of experience up front, and Riordan does have a good record at Fir Park for scoring goals and i am sure he should be able to be fit enough to play 90 minutes if he is needed to, this is a game if the manager get his tactics right could see you getting 3 points from this game, this game will be about who wants it most, think it could be your team who wants it most.
  13. Are you for real, seriously, you need to have a word with yourself.
  14. Says it all for me MS. Riordan should start in place for Sandaza next game.
  15. He is fully fit and bursting to go if he gets the nod to start the game.
  16. Yes he is, don't think the players will know until tomorrow who is playing.
  17. Players are not allowed to post on forums as you will no doubt no that yeah, so i aint him, is there a problem with me posting, i have already said that i am not a St Js fans but will be up in Perth on Saturday at the game hoping your team get a result ok. Enjoy the game.
  18. In Riordans second spell at Hibs under Yogi he was used as a left midfielder so Yogi could play Stokes and Nish up-front in a 4-4-2 set up, his stats for that season were something like 17 goals and double figures in assists as well, so of course he can play out on the left and the major thing you said and you are right about it, he has the experience in the SPL to play there. He will cause problems for the Arabs out on the left, good crosses in to the box and of course he likes to cut in and get shots away, being two footed will cause problems for there right back.
