Pro union side being investigated by police Scotland today for breaking electoral law, Ruth Davidson been caught out taking tallie of the postal votes weeks before the referendum. Out of curiosity aswell did anyone look at the back of their ballot paper? I did when folding it in half and noticed it was blank and raised the question with polling station staff as I thought there was meant to be something on the back but they dismissed it and told me to put it in the box, I found out afterwards that it should of had - an official local council stamp, a unique identification number and barcode, and say 'referendum 18th September 2014' Did anyone have anything similar?

Iv stated many reasons why am voting independence and I asked a load of questions earlier and you couldn't answer a single one of them. You are an absolute cretin. Done with this forum.

Have you seen how expensive petrol is as it is and it's just getting worse, why? Have you actually driven on the roads here?? They are a state, full of pot holes that wreck your motor and never seem to get fixed, what are we already paying for? Go and tell Tommy Sheridan it's all about Alex Salmond and see what reply you get. I think it is you that has been brainwashed by the media. There's nothing anti english about it why is that so hard for you to understand it's anti Westminster.

To tell someone they will lose their job to influence a vote is bullying and intimidation. The owner of The house of Bruar is well known for being a tax dodger and he also has 14 points on his drivers licence explain that?? The source of this is staff from the house of Bruar (I use to work there and know alot of staff members) someone is seeking legal advice on the technicalities of publishing it online and Atholl Estates is from the mouth of several tenants of Atholl Estates

Probably be harder to dodge paying taxes in an independent Scotland, the house of Bruar owner is crooked as they come

There's no way for them to know what way people vote, but with the fear of losing there job if it's a yes vote would be enough to put some people off. It will also stop any staff being able to show any support to the yes vote

    Yes Or Naw?

The house of Bruar issued a letter to their staff stating that if they vote yes they will lose there jobs and in the event of a yes vote being returned they are closing the buisness and moving back to cumbria. On top of That Atholl Estate have been intimidating all there tenants of they vote yes they will lose their homes. Bullying is not on!

If the wage was as high as it is in Norway I'd happily pay £10 a pint, the lowest wage in Norway is between £12-£15 a hour.
  10. Morgans not exactly had a chance, 2 half hour appearances an 1 start for an hour isn't exactly fair judging someone of his age whos never played in the league before give him some slack, he obviously had potential to be in the Liverpool team.

Scotland generates 9.9% of UK taxes but only receives 9.3% of UK spending, and from just 8.4% of the UK population. If Scotland received the same spending as it generated (which we will if we get independence) we would be £4.4bn better off, about £800 per person. Westminster MPs have an annual salary of £66k plus tens of thousands of pounds more in expenses. It's no wonder there trying so desperately to keep us, and the fact Cameron wasn't interested until last week, bit too late. Imagine if it was in reverse, if we were an already independent country having a referendum to join the union. -your main parliament will move 600 miles away and your MPs will be a tiny minority -You will get a government you never voted for -All your oil and gas money will get handed to London -The biggest necular weapons facility in western Europe will be based on the river at your largest city -You will join a country whos health and education services are being rapidly privatised -You will get dragged into illegal wars -The financial regulation system will be so weak and lax that your whole economy will be brought to the brink of collapse -the most weak and vulnerable in your society, instead of getting the protection and support they deserve, will be interrogated and humiliated in an effort to get them off the meagre levels of support to which they are entitled. Who in their right mind would want to join that?

The Yes campaign have answered majority of question to be fair, the only ones theyv not answered is ones they can't because they don't have a crystal ball. Why are the no campaign lie so badly? Asda are looking to claim legal action following there quote being misquoted and being damaging to the buisness. And yet not a single person on the no camp has answered any of the questions that I'd like to know. What new powers is Holyrood guaranteed in a no vote? What will the impact be on Scottish family's of the £25bn of new public spending cuts announced by the chancellor earlier this month? Can you guarantee Scotland will still be in the Eu in 2020 with a no vote? What steps will be taking to closing the gaps between rich and poor? If the Barnet formula is scrapped, by how much will our budget be cut by? Will a system be put in place to guarantee minimum wage increases with the cost of living? Will corporation tax be devolved to give Scottish businesses a competitive edge? Will the UK still be one of the most unequal country's in the devolped world? Will the bedroom tax be extended to pensioners as suggested? 9/10 Scottish MPs voted against the bedroom tax, can you ensure the views of our MPs won't be ignored in the future? Royal mail has been privatised, what guarantees can be given that more public services won't be privatised? In the Eu in/out referendum if the majority of Scotland wish tos tay but rest of UK leave what will happen? We currently receive the lowest farm payments of any Eu country will that continue? If Scotland had been independent during the most recent Eu farming talks we would have qualified for an extra £1bn in funding how will this be made back up? Will we have any direct representation in Europe to negotiate fishing and farming industry's after a no vote? Cos we need change of some kind great Britain has failed. It's actually a total joke the state this country has gotten into, and how many people on there high horse saying everything's sweet for them so **** everyone else.

Not to sure what you mean? The Scottish government already have control of our railway, with exception to cross border journeys, all money from that currently goes to Westminster but if a yes vote that will be re-negotiated as it's in the best interest for both country's to continue operating

Only British when we're winning, English wins always an English win There's nothing great about Britain You have to pay the BBC already unless you refuse to pay to support there corrupt pedo ring Who actually cares about the British lions it's basically an England team with a couple of Welsh players Celtic are shite who cares? It's already been stated by the FA several times the don't want either of the ugly sister as they would offer nothing to the league

And what about the Clair ridge oil project in the Clair oil field that Cameron/Westminster and the media have tried to stay quiet about , until BP revealed there plans theyv already taken 100 million barrels of oil out the Clair oil field and have discovered the Clair ridge one the biggest oil fields discovered in the north Sea, it contains 640 million barrels of extractable oil and with this will be there first deployment of new enhanced oil recovery technology Losal which will add another 40 million barrels The fields expected to start up in 2016 with production going on for 4 years and increasing to 100 thousand barrels a day. Wonder why the tried to keep that secret?

Half my family are English I am in no way anti English. By that logic I must be anti Irish and Welsh too. I am anti British tho. Why anyone would want to declare there British is beyond me. I would rather Salmond over Cameron anyday an am not a Salmond fan either and couldn't give a toss about the SNP. There's a referendum in 2017 for leaving the Eu with alot of backing from London and we won't have a say in it. Scotlands more than capable of trading on it's own, and we can use the pound, we did make it after all...
  20. pitsjfc

    Yes Or Naw?

What a load of shite, it's nothing to do with being anti English. If we stay in the UK and the rest of the UK vote to leave the Eu we will suffer big time, and we don't have a big enough voice to say whether we stay or leave the Eu.
