Don’t think Gordon was anywhere near fit.
-
Today is more on them than the manager, to me, though Levein is far from blameless, and I’d be glad to see the back of him. It’s the most pathetic shitebag performance I’ve seen from a St. Johnstone team. Begs the question about them playing for the manager, though.
-
Aye. Speaks volumes for a team when their goalkeeper will, rightly, collect every award.

1-1 Maolida Phillips

MacLean’s is exactly 1 - 11 of the 15 points were last season. Levein’s is 1.04. Defeat on Saturday would have Levein with 24 points from 24 games.

Olufunwa for me.

Obviously football doesn’t work like this but Inverness scored 59 in 21/22. We are quite reactionary on here (I include myself in this). Although likely having three away games is an advantage, I think we’ll end up in 11th. I still think we’d have enough in the play offs but it doesn’t mean I’d be confident, nor would I have faith in the mentality of this team to get us over the line. We won’t finish bottom though and that has to be seen as a positive from where we were.
-
Probably gives us an advantage - 7 games without a win at McDiarmid now.
-
Spunked up the wall by Davidson and all round good guy ‘Flax’.
-
I think we were a four at the back today - and have been for the last while - but Gallacher on the left wing is just cruel.
-
Have worried for a while about the mentality of this team in regards to this. Pull out a big result when the pressure is on, then a few weeks of pathetic performances piles the pressure back on and they pull out a result. Repeat. Also think we’re seeing yet another St. Johnstone team being better suited to playing away from home.

1-1 Clark Watson

In terms of games I’ve been to it could be my favourite ever, although the Norway game in June might just pip it. Didn’t fancy us at all and at 1-0 down it felt like a case of here we go again. Contrast that to the final when I had little doubt we’d do it. Much like in 2021, it just felt like the stars had aligned.

Before getting sent off.

McGowan and Robinson with Costelloe and Carey ahead of them that night.

I doubt Sky would give a ****, to be honest. As you say, Old Firm away games - with some random game on every 6 months to show they care - from now until the end of time. Be stunned if it works out that simplistic.
-
Won 2, drawn 1, lost 2 Won 1, drawn 2 and lost 1 with Phillips as captain, only booked once in those games. Small sample size but he does look a lot more disciplined when given the captaincy - the draw at Celtic Park is the one that sticks in my mind in particular. Keeps things simple in possession, doesn’t go barrelling around chasing lost causes, and for the most part, cuts out the daft niggly fouls. With regards the last paragraph, I doubt it’d make much of a difference tbh.

October 2022 the last time we won in consecutive games. Actually won three in a row that occasion. Heady days.
-
Our last win was away, we scored two goals and kept a clean sheet. Gordon was playing. Just saying…
-
Why the negativity? We’ll likely only get beat 4-0 at worst*. *I’m not to blame if it’s 5.

2-0 Hibs Maolida Phillips

Tommy Wright is god. End of discussion.

If only we were allowed to make substitutions
