  1. If you relate the example you have given to Griffiths at £125,000, it would suggest that St Johnstone are a few hundred thousand shy of £17million to the good in savings. If this is so I think we should opt to make a couple of signings, nothing rash, we wouldn't want to be outlandish.
  2. Went for Jacko over Muzz, solely for the reason I expect Muzz to play like that time and time again, an actual player, god hope he stays. However I thought Jacko coming into that game after being kept out so long - for reason unkown - and playing pretty well was worthy of MOM. If it is true he has signed pre-contract with Morton I am astonished at the desire he played with tonight, much more so than players who have re-newed contracts at saints that look lost right now. Liam Craig, a two year deal - you must be kidding me.
  3. Did Jackson and Del have some sort of following out? I cannot understand why we haven't seen him sooner. He has looked quite good so far, better than alot of performances we've seen recently.
  4. You would hardly know Craig or May are playing, both ineffectual. I think Maybury is playing good enough to stay based on this - and last few games. Great run from Innes for the goal.
  5. Thought it was between Duberry and Grainger. Went for Grainger because i thought he dealt with that pacey winger very well. Duberry was a rock though. Suprised Mooner has any votes, thought his passing was atrocious today. Thought Del was too blame for the loss, substitution too late, we looked very tired and lacking in the last twenty minutes.
  6. thought morais brought a little bit of an attacking presence to the side. sheerin was great when he came on. mackay as always was solid at the back, but overall we were very disappointing today to say the least, worst effort of the season. Hangover from wednesday was noticeable. davidson is great but must learn how to header and finish in general when in final third of the park.
  7. Has to be Dave MacKay, from start to finish he was a rock.
  8. when it comes to set pieces what annoys me the most is defending corners. we don't leave a single player up, all this allows for is the attacking team to have another player in the box. leave one player up and they will bring another back too. also agree with needing to take the odd quick throw in.
  9. I think are actual colours are obviously blue and white. i also think that our away kits are always a little lacking, i like the sound of a maroon away kit or even more so saints tartan for the shorts and a white top (and i know celtic have just realised a similiar idea kit but it did looke very smart.) just my honest opinion
  10. Good post, don't get me wrong i like old music but we seem to play the same old music every game, i think today is maybe different because we want the big sing a long, but normally i don't think the younger fans want to hear e.l.o mr blue sky, cash ring of fire etc. i suspect some don't know the songs at all.
  11. Its great, especially since his goal at east end his confidence has soared and looks a real attacking threat at times.
  12. Voted for Samuel as he worked like crazy in the game, always posed a threat, great showing, spl minded player. Defensively you couldn't get much past McCaffery, i think he is the much more polished defender than rusty who i like but is a little bit of a 'no frills' defender. Sorry can't see how Hardie has had so much of the vote, he does not look fit and gives the ball away lots, not to mention another game he has been booked way before half-time, puts so much pressure on the team. Would have liked to have seen a Morris for Hardie switch earlier on.
