I was going to post on this thread, but you have summed up exactly what I was going to say. The "Saints club idea" sounds a perfect soloution to me, as it also would provide Saints with an extremely effective marketing database and would allow fan's on the fringes to feel part of something. Forget all of these silly voucher things - I lived abroad and would fly back for the big games, a voucher system would preclude me from my pilgramiges to McDiarmid.

That's actually a really interesting point. I'd buy my papers elsewhere if I knew that my newsagent was a racist, but what if our club chairman held views that I considered offencive and was actively persuing them politically? Would anyone have a moral issue if the team was to be owned by a man who is considered by some to be a homophobe? I'm not in anyway stating my politics or my moral position, but I'd be interested to know what others thought. PS I really don't think he'll be taking over the club anyway, but.....

It makes sence to me. She has a history of munificence and my guess is that she would hold the club in stewardship on behalf of the town. She is nothing if not public spirited. Not sure there is any truth in the rumours though.

Well that was an odd match..... Felt oddly deflated that we only had four given just how one side the match was. If we'd started with Savo up front I'm sure we'd have been a couple up by half time. Thought May took his goal in a very composed manner - composure that Barrett and Reynolds (although more understanderbly) lacked in the first half. Mooner bossed it and Doris and Lindsay both looked pretty assured. Really strange to watch a match with nothing riding on it, but all in all I'm delighted that we have won the league by 10 clear points. It almost looks like we have walked it, doesn't it?

So are we having a "themed" night tonight or not? Yay or Nay? Whats the consensus?

Oh and Dundee are now 2 up on thistle so we could have a chance of winning the leauge with a double figure points advantage To me that would be clear evidence for those that don't think we are up to it that we have "walked" the division this season.
